I don’t have the best photo but these worked great for our rental property. We needed strips thicker than the standard 1” and these fit perfect. Even came with the nails for installation. Would definitely purchase again! They look great and seem very durable

Work perfectly for my transition from carpet to tile.

We too out the carpet and put in wood floors which then left a gap under all the bedroom doors. We are using this as a temporary solution. Works well to keep the noise level to a minimum. Glue is extremely strong, especially if you have toddlers running around who are determined to take everything apart.

The M-D Building Products Polished Aluminum Carpet Trim looks nice and seems sturdy, but unfortunately, mine arrived damaged. The material itself appears to be good quality and would have worked well if it hadn’t been bent during shipping. It’s an average product overall — functional, but the packaging and handling could definitely be improved.

Bought this for the transition from carpet to slate around a wood stove, to replace wood trim (despite being meant for the same purpose) had cracked because it was unable to handle the stress if anybody stepped on it. This stuff was easy to work with (e.g. cut with a hack saw) and install. If I have a wish, it is for the nails to be a quarter to half inch longer because in my case the carpet and padding is a bit to go through. But all in all it does the job well.

The product is good quality and fits well, the problem is in shipping. There is no easy way to keep it from bending buring shipping.

I like the product. It is wide enough to span the transition from carpet to vinyl perfectly smoothly. I wanted a strip that was wide and this is it. I did have to cut it to fit my doorway but I used a pair of tin snips and got it done. The product came with nails to install it which was a plus. The whole process took less than 30 minutes I spent most of the time in cutting the strip. I am completely satisfied with the results.

I have big gaps under the doors and this carpet trim keeps mice out when I screw it to the bottom of the door

Had to hide the damage carpet from hard wood floor since the little one Locked the cat in the bedroom and we where moving out from Rental. Landlord didn't notice when moving out so saved us a lot.

This was the perfect product to cut a unusual size of transition! Nice colour as well.

Would have given this five stars as it was the only trim I could find that was wide enough to do the job I needed it to do. The package it came in was ripped open on arrival and the screws were missing so I needed to supply my own. Not a big deal but a bit of an annoyance.
