Perfect Stemless Pinot Glass
I love Reidel glasses and was thrilled to find these. I would not think of using them for a gin and tonic as dropping an ice cube in a glass would surely crack it. I bought these specifically for drinking wine, as they are the same shape as an Oregon Pinot glass! The only reason I gave 4 stars for easy to hold is that I have small hands, and these are quite wide - but perfect for drinking Pinot! 4 stars for sturdiness because they are NOT sturdy ... they are crystal! Same for durability ... hand wash only, the NEXT DAY. I have a firm rule about never washing wine glasses the night-of for obvious reasons. Highly recommend these glasses in spite of the TLC required!

Perfect, what I had been hunting for!
Awesome for G&T’s. Exactly how I would have designed them. Nice bulb to enjoy the nose of the gin and tonic. The bulb also does a great job of preventing ice cubes from sliding into your mouth or lips. It’s a shame that few people of enjoyed a G&T in glassware that highlights the nose of the gin.

Happy with them. They do feel thin but no different to a wine glass. Haven’t used them yet as they are a gift for Christmas

Too Fragile
I have other Riedel glasses for wine and was excited to get these for gin & tonics. Unfortunately as others have said they just aren't robust enough. Even though I have been super careful, adding the cubes by hand, one has already broken after less than 2 months. Given the cost, that is unacceptable in my view.

Beautiful but......
These are beautiful but very delicate or flimsy? Received for Christmas and upon stirring my gin and tonic the side was hit by the spoon and it exploded! A total waste of my gin!

My go-to glass when I’m up for a G&T. Another quality product by Riedel. Shortlisted a few gin glasses but still decided on these. Purchased Riedel wine glasses previously and they are really good at their craft.
