There is no charge for expedited shipping, and we're happy to do it, if it is necessary. However, we do like to avoid the expense if it isn't necessary. If we DO expedite the shipment, expect your replacement within 3 business days. If we DO NOT expedite the shipment of the replacement, then you can expect your replacement to show up in about 7 to 10 days.

Q: Can this be used as a leaf rake or is it too cumbersome? I'd like both a silt net and leaf rake, but want to buy each separately if I don't have to.

I've used it to get leaves out of the bottom of the pool . . . but it's not ideal if you ask me. It's too flimsy and feels like you are bending it. I had a different version where it had a scoop in the front and it did a much better job than this and was far sturdier . . . but I've never seen one like that after I bought it years ago. In fact, I thought this and the one I had before were the same thing just different designs. Didn't know "leaf rake" was a thing and now I want to look into it.

Yes, the mesh net (bag) is covered by the warranty.

Q: Can you provide a link to the video instructions for the “push broom” method you describe? I can’t seem to get debris on the bottom successfully.

I don’t have a video ... but start from the shallow end ... all the way to the deep end ... then using the silt rake ... scoop up the debris... I have my pool pump running when I do this
