Bought this water jug 3 years ago and still holding strong! Always keeping my water cold for days on end, and the bottle can take a beating and still looks like new. Recommend to anyone looking for a giant water jug.

This water jug is awesome. Really durable, carries enough water and the seal for the lid is great which is what I personally was looking for since alot of water jugs have that issue.

Exactly what I was looking for to transport a large amount of drinking water when we travel. For its size it is compact and easy to pour out of.

Can I give it 7 stars? This thermos is so obscenely good I’m just flabbergasted. We got ice and filled it up to the top with 8lbs of McDonald’s ice (it’s a perfect fit for this 256 ounce model) and sealed it up and mostly left it alone… and I literally don’t remember how long ago it was, but there is still enough ice in it to make a few cold drinks. I’m sure it was more than a week. It’s been a total game changer for keeping ice around the house, and it’s even big enough to use as an absurdly good cooler for little trips or power outages etc. I know it sounds silly, but it is seriously one of my favorite things I own. The physics of keeping ice cold for that long are just hard to compare to all the crap “double wall” plastic junk that is everywhere. This is the answer if you want a pretty big volume of cold or hot retention. Just be warned keeping a single ice cube cool won’t work well because the cooler itself weighs more than the ice. It’s for bigger quantities of whatever you like that it really shines.Also, just a heads up, this is the second one I got of the 256oz size. The first one only held ice for probably 3 or 4 days. I sent it back because our smaller one (the 192oz) was out performing it and the physics said that should not happen IF both are full to their capacity. Glad I did because the replacement is more than twice as good, might seriously be 12 days it holds ice. I literally can’t recall when we filled it any more it’s been so long. Amazing.

This review is about the Abotocup and Buzio two-gallon jugs. THESE THINGS ARE BOTH GREAT! The two companies are clearly selling the same jug and just putting their names and/or logos on them. The difference is in the accessories! Sticker labels on the retail boxes say both products are made in China.These jugs are good looking, like it would be a shame to take them out into the field because you know they’re going to get beat up and scuffed out there! But hey! that’s their mission right, they just have to keep something to drink safe and warm or cold in the field. They don’t necessarily have to look good while doing it…. but they both do!!So… both jugs are very nice…very sturdy, well-made, double wall insulated stainless-steel construction and as I said they both good looking too.**ONE ISSUE on the construction they both have relatively brittle cap mounted PLASTIC carrying handles that can probably break pretty easily… so watch what you do if you try to use the handle to twist the cap loosening or tightening it. Also, watch what other pressure is impacting on them. I wish they would make a lid for them out of steel to include the carry handle. That would be great!Now onto the accessories:The Abotocup jug (at $99.99 as of 01MAR2025) comes with:a. a long scrub brush for cleaning the jugb. two 16oz DOUBLE-WALL drinking cups <GOOD if you put something VERY hot in them; soup, coffee etc.… your hands won’t have to deal with the direct heat!The Buzio jug (at $119.99 as of 01MAR2025) comes with:a. a full body protective/carry-sling sleeve that protects the whole steel jug and gives you an alternate means of carrying it aroundb. two 16oz SINGLE-WALL drinking cups <Not as good if you put something VERY hot in them; soup, coffee etc.… these will be really hot to hold on to!Now about the initial delivery… when I first ordered these two jugs from Amazon:a. the Abotocup jug showed up with multiple big dents on the inside bottom of the jug like someone just struck it a few times with a metal rod or something.b. And the Buzio jug showed up in a badly tattered and worn retail box that looked like it had been in transit for years and its plastic handle was fractured in two.So… shabby initial showing for both.Personally, I may buy a couple more Abotocup jugs and then order those protective carrying covers from Buzio for them. Or buy a couple more Buzio jugs and just try to order an extra scrubber and Double-wall cups from Abotocup. It just depends on which accessories YOU like most i guess…
