Ever use one of those plastic pipettes that are so thin that even the slightest variation in finger pressure will cause dribble across the transfer path? These are not those tossable pipettes; I've even cut the bottom off of these and have used them as pipetteletes (sp?) in a pinch. One thing that took me aback, 500 is a LOT of pipettes; this is a brick of pipettes. I mean, I'll go through them, but I had to store my disposables in a new area that had more room because I underestimated how many 500 is. I mean, get them, no question, but maybe overestimate the shelf space you think it'll take, or give half of them out as gifts and stocking stuffers.

They are a good deal for the price. What I dislike is sometimes the pipette fails in the process of using referring to when you are using for drawing paint from paint jar and it will not draw. The seams on the bulb part give out very quickly. I always have extras nearby on standby so if one fails I have another ready to go.

I used them to fill lip balm tubes. I was able to fill 50 tubes with one pipette, which includes multiple pipette fills of warm liquid per tube, then squeezing out cooled lip balm batter every few minutes. These did not split or crack at all. GREAT deal on these!
