I didn’t expect to become this attached to a pet hair remover, but here we are. The ChomChom works ridiculously well — better than every sticky lint roller and vacuum attachment I’ve ever used. One pass across my couch or bedding and it looks brand new. It even gets the hair that’s woven into the fabric, which feels like witchcraft. I’m so obsessed with this thing that I’ve already decided it’s going to be everyone’s Christmas gift. Truly. I also make any friend who comes over sit down so I can demonstrate how good it is. It’s become part of the tour of my home at this point. What I like: Picks up hair instantly Reusable and eco-friendly Surprisingly satisfying to use Works on furniture, bedding, rugs — everything What could be better: It makes a bit of a clacking noise when you use it, but you get used to it fast. Overall: If you have pets, just buy it. It’s weirdly life-changing and you’ll probably end up convincing everyone you know to get one too.

We tried to get all of the dog and cat hair off of our furniture, but we couldn't get it with our vacuum, so we tried a regular lint roller, and although it helped, we still had so much pet hair stuck in the cracks and cushions of our couches! This pet hair remover is amazing! You will think your cushions are clean but roll over it with this simple tool and be surprised by how much it catches! I thought it might be a little pricey at first, but I was tired of having fur stuck to my pants every time I sat down, so this was worth the cost! There is no paper to peel- it all catches inside a roller compartment, so it continuously picks up the hair and you aren't spreading the hair back out on your couch. It works on clothes as well, but we really found the best use for us was to get the fur off the furniture before it got on our clothes. And it is small, it has a little hole so you can hang it up and put it away when you are done. It is a pretty neat problem solver, for reference we have 3 cats 1 dog, and I am definitely glad we decided to give it a chance!

I purposely did not pull up the hair in my 8 x 10 rug until the gadget arrived. I waited a week. The reason I bought this is that I noticed my vacuum cleaner does not pull up the dog hair very well from a basic rug. So I used this on an 8 x 10 rug and focused on 1 foot at a time. The first time that door popped open, and that was actually good because I realized how full of hair it was already😮! I had absolutely no idea that little compartment could hold so much. I then went around the rug several more times focusing carefully in small areas. You have to move it back-and-forth less than a foot at a time. If you try to just push it forward in a long sweep or stroke. It does not work. But works like a charm if you use it correctly. I have two German shepherds in the house. If you have GSDs, also you understand the hair issue. Their real name is German SHEDDERS. The only issue I have with this product is that the door pops open. But I suppose it can be taped. I have also ordered the same product by Black & Decker because I hear it works just as well, but the door doesn't pop open. It hasn't arrived yet, but I am curious to see if it works as well. This product is even better because it is reusable, very easy to use and a no-brainer. It is as well made as it can be, but is still very flimsy looking, so I cannot speak to durability. It does not work very well on leather furniture. It needs something rough and not smooth so rugs bath mats the covers to the arms of my couch and car seat seats that are not leather would also benefit. All in all very pleased with this. Ask: I would love to see this product made even bigger, with the door to the compartment, not flopping open, AND maybe even a long handle like a mop handle so that you could use it in large areas.
