Can this help with serving? If so, how?

While the Permawrist product is designed primarily for tennis strokes, it can help with serving in learning pronation at the point of impact. The product allows you to maintain an angle (around 30 degrees) between the racket and forearm to generate proper racket head speed while you practice shadow swings at home at 25% of the serving speed. Other than practicing shadow swings at low speed, we would not suggest wearing it during actual serving.

Does this help practicing single handed backhand?

Yes, our PermaWrist device will help you to maintain an L-shaped laid back wrist which is critical in hitting a good top spin backhand. However, you will need to make sure that you have the proper Eastern backhand grip.
