DR Strings NGB5-45 Hi-Def Neon Green K3 Coated Bass Guitar Strings - .045-.125 Medium 5-string (NGB5-45)

These strings actually sound and feel really good. They have lasted a long time too. That and they look awesome. They are more than just a novelty and actually surpassed my expectations for feel and have an excellent sound that riviles many other bass strings that cost more. I got the lime greens.

I've only had these on my AccuBass for about 4hours but love Love LOVE THEM. Went on my 35" scale thru body setup without issue. I put the lower 4 strings of a 5pack setup on my bass and had to file the B string nut a bit but otherwise great sounding strings. I ended up paying for an hour after getting on and tuned it so much fun and great tone. Also enjoying the finger feel as others have mentioned. Now I want more basses with these in diff colors just for kicks. Reflects very well with LED fake blacklights as you can see.

When the string came, I was shocked at how bright they are even in regular light. They string up very easily and sound great . the feel on your fingers is amazing. is has a smooth feel to them. Great low end tone as well! I saving up now for replacements should they break, which they haven't yet. Amazing product. I wish they came in purple! Definitely BUY!

Love these strings

The coating is much more durable than I thought it would be. The strings are SUPER bright and very noticeable. I put them on a modded acrylic 5 string, and the only issue I had was sending them through the bridge multiple times (because it was a work in progress) wore down the coating a little, but I only I can notice it and point it out, to the lay person they look flawless. My fingers have not worn down the coating yet in 4, 3-4 hour performances and a few rehearsals. I will tell you though, the strings are a bit tacky feeling, almost slightly rubberized. It caused me to get HUGE blisters under my calluses, which are 14 years old! The friction on these is INTENSE... but they look so cool I use them anyway haha. They sound just fine and they do draw a lot of attention. The coating is NOT the same "coating" as like a phosphor bronze coated, like I said it's kind of rubbery, but it seems to be very durable. I haven't had green fingers or anything yet!

I play 3 to 4 nights a week and I play a 5 string Fender Jazz Bass and I go thru strings like crazy, but these strings last longer than any strings I've tried so far. The feel is great the sound is awsome, and these Neon green with the k3 coating are some great strings. I would recommend these strings for any bass player.

Excellent product, great sound and style look

I had never tried these strings before and I sure wish I had..they sound great, the strings glow pretty good under a black light..they’ve been on my bass for about 6 weeks now and they still sound good, I recommend if you want to make your bass stand out plus sound pretty good
