Samsung Induction Hob with 4 Cooking Zones, With Touch Control, Colour: Black, Material: Ceramic Glass, NZ64H37070K

Unfortunately our previous hob ( different manufacturer) was damaged beyond repair. Being a Samsung fan we replaced it with this particular model due to the preferred layout of the hob heating zones. Have delayed reviewing item until we had used the product for a while. Very pleased, particularly like the features of the touch screen controls. Unlike the previous hob, which would switch on when wiping the surface, (very annoying), this hob due to the better quality switching, does not occur. We also found the previous hob surface scratched very easily, but again due to obviously better quality this is not an issue with the Samsung hob. Important- unless you are proficient electrician I would definitely recommend one when installing, the wiring instructions maybe confusing

Good quality and Easy to use

We removed our gas supply as we only used gas for a four burner hob and we wanted to avoid the extortionate daily standing charge for the gas supply, which was more than the cost of the gas we were burning! This hob was easy to install, it looks very stylish, and is easy to keep clean. It does require a dedicated 16A power supply, but luckily for me I had an old oven power supply terminating in a socket next to where the hob was going, so I could use this. I fitted myself with no problems. Technically it should be fitted by a qualified electrician, but having done many domestic wiring jobs I was confident to fit it my self, and so far no one has died! The wires may look complicated as they have the option for a three phase connection, but if you know what you are doing around domestic electrics and read the instructions and the labels on the wire carefully, it is not that difficult. Please note, this hob cannot plugged into a standard three pin socket. We needed to replace most of our saucepans so they will work on an induction hob, but this was not a big deal. Cooking on the hob takes a bit of getting used to. Each 'ring' has nine power levels + a boost setting, but these power levels control the pulsing of the ring rather than the power output, i.e. on a low setting the power level of the ring is the same as on a high setting, but it pulses on and off, with only a short period of time on. As the power levels are turned up the 'on' pulses get longer, and on the 'boost' setting there are no pulses, it is just on all the time. If you have a pan on simmer or a low roiling boil, the simmer or boil also pulses i.e. the boil rises and then drops back, and then rises again. Once you get used to this, and how to achieve the power level you want, its all fine, but it is a different technique to a gas hob. The other point to be aware of is the speed of response. Old style electric hobs take time to heat up, and they then remain hot for a while after you turn them down i.e. if you have a pan that is about to boil over and you turn the ring off, the pan will still boil over unless you physically remove it from the ring. That does not happen with this Samsung induction hob, the pan will react almost instantly to a change in the power level. There is no heating up time, you turn the ring on and the pan is hot in seconds. If the pan is about to boil over and you turn the ring down, the pan stops boiling almost instantly. If anything does boil over, it's easy to clean up the smooth glass surface. We are really pleased with this hob and thoroughly recommend it.

Standard size. This obviously needs full hob-type power supply, rather than 13A plug. Adjusting the temperature of each ring is done by selecting it first, then pressing on a 1-9 bar scale - that's a little harder to do in practice than just + or - buttons. Got it for a good price during Black Friday promotions, don't think I would have paid its higher normal price for it though. Initially, I wondered if it was less powerful in practice than the old clone induction hob its replaced, but I don't think so now. Have opted for 3 year extended guarantee, in view of these things' complexity ........

Love it works well easier cleaning great hob

This samsung hob is great, it looks and feels premium, it heats up really fast and there's some great quality of life features like, upon Turing a ring on it automatically jumps to lvl 7 heating so that you dont have to stand there turning it up to get ready for cooking and there's also a lock feature. It is hot to the touch and doesn't require special induction pans, simply a flat bottomed pan will work just fine. Another great samsung product.

I chose to buy this product based on user reviews and my trust in the Samsung brand, but after using it for two weeks, I experienced complete disappointment. It was installed by a professional electrician, and unfortunately, the product broke down after two weeks. Tests and measurements performed by the professional electrician revealed that the control system and the on/off buttons were not working. As you can clearly see in the video, although the on/off buttons are not working, there is electricity on the left side of the product, but there is no electricity on the control panel and the right side of the product. I would also like to mention that the ceramic glass of the product has permanent scratches and stains. Therefore, I returned the product and requested a full refund. Amazon accepted my request and issued a full refund, for which I thank them. I should also add that electrical appliances are really a matter of luck.

easy to fit , replacing an old hod... only took a few minutes ... works well and looks good .

Me llego algo una batidora de mano cuando lo que pedi era una estufa de induccion ya que la imagen la descripcion del pedido viene como estufa de ceramica y hasta el encabezado lo describen como la estufa , no es posible que jueguen con el tiempo de las personas mandando un producto que no coicide con las descripciones estoy muy molesto

There’s no wall socket. So you can’t plug it into the wall. Ridiculous.

It came without any cable inside the pack ! I don’t know how should I connect it with electric without cable !!!

Temo que me llegue una batidora y no la estufa que yo compre. En el anuncio original aparece una estufa de inducción y las especificaciones corresponden de una estufa de inducción y no una "batidora". Espero Amazon haga lo necesario para respetar sus ofertas de productos.
