Simple to use. You don't have to make the crosshairs line up exactly when setting up, just mark the starting location on the handy record sheets provided.

It is supposed to stay in place as you need to be able to read the movement by millimeter, however it moves if someone accidently nudge it despite the fact it was secured to the wall by screws.

This monitor works well so long as you screw it thoroughly to the wall in question otherwise it can easily come loose and give weird results.

A good handy thing to have in your tool box
This is must to have if you have a crack in your walls, I used a glue gun to fix it to the wall and so far it's served it's purpose well.
