Sometimes it's hard to get everyone to agree on what type of pizza to order. These cookies are no different. Some of us will absolutely love them. Some people will taste them and think "meh, I've had better." The bottom line is, you won't know until you've actually tried them for yourself. There's actually only ONE thing about the reviews that you should pay attention to. Want to know what that is?Let's talk about the filling. If you look at the packaging, you'll see a filled Chips Ahoy cookie. Will the cookies inside the packaging look like the ones pictured? Well, in our case, they didn't. Truth be told, ours didn't even look like they were filled with anything. They looked like everyday chewy Chips Ahoy cookies. Which is why I took one star off of my rating. Because what the cookies look like was not what we were expecting. And yet, they still tasted great.Our Little Girl had the honors of being the first to try them out. Not just because I'm a big pushover. But because she totally loves ice cream sandwiches, AND chewy Chips Ahoy cookies. That, and she loves to make-believe she's a Youtube foodie, and is doing an official taste-test for us. What did she think of the cookies? She LOVES them. "Best thing I've ever tasted. Five stars." As for myself, my Wife, and my Mother-in-Law, all of us agreed. They do have that delightful smell of an ice cream sandwich, and the taste is baked right into them. So as for our family, we all gave the cookies five stars for taste. And we would absolutely buy them again.Here's what you should do next....Add a pack of these cookies to your shopping cart. Then go to checkout. You'll probably get them as soon as tomorrow. And then YOU try the cookies out. Because regardless of what any reviewer says about them, all that really matters is what you think about them. But you'll never know, unless you actually order a pack. I am not a big fan of chips ahoy cookies generally. But when I saw these were creme filled, I was definitely up for trying them. I love all things creme and frosting. As others have noted, if you are expecting the cookies to look actually have as much creme as is shown on the package, you will be disappointed. There is only a very thin layer of creme actually included. However, that thin layer of creme really makes a difference. It elevates the sweetness level and is a nice contrast to the chocolate tips. We tried one cookie straight out of the bag and then put them in the fridge after that. I do think keeping them in the fridge was key. It definitely gave them a nice texture and flavor. They did not last long in our household, which I consider a good sign. Will definitely get again. Appreciated the resealable packaging, which kept the cookies fresh.

This reminds me of when they did a collab with Oreo. In regards to how it tastes, I would say it’s a bit underwhelming due to there not being enough cream in the cookie itself, but on its own it is still a good cookie. Wouldn’t rave about them like the internet is doing and selling out everywhere. I bought them on here just to try them and they’re good, not great. If anything Frozen or refrigerated is very misleading, and room temperature is better. If anything if you want an authentic ice cream sandwich clone in cookie form, it’s called an Oreo in the fridge or freezer. Good cookie again, not amazing unless more cream is added. When out in fridge or freezer it gets really hard to bite the cookie and enjoy it.

Very salted, sweet with savory chocolate and a chewy fairly dense textured cookie. The way it's ice cream sandwich "inspired" is with the cream filling, and it does remind me of one! It's vanilla creme filled, the cookie tastes like the semi-frozen soft cookies from the freezer. I'm a big fan of the texture, it's just like a regular chewy cookie until you bite into the filling. There's quite a bit, just right for the size where you'll taste and feel it when eating, but still getting a lot of cookie at the same time. The chocolate I was also impressed with, tastes more rich and dark, maybe it's because it's chewy but the chocolate is what makes this so good to me. 18 cookies total. And yes, I did have a whole row of cookies in one sitting. Highly recommend as a treat or a main meal.
