I purchased this to put under a warming mat on my granite countertop. This silicone protector mat is so large I was able to fold in half under the warming mat so that was good added protection for the granite.

Great product, protects our kitchen quartz countertops from heat and spills. Have had them for several months and even with heavy use, no signs of degradation.

I gave these mats 5 stars, but want to mention that the color that is listed as "white" is really opaque, almost clear (see photo). The box was marked white. I wanted a solid white, but it is not a big issue. We are using them to protect the top of a washer and dryer. They seem well made, arrived very quickly and nicely packaged.

They are flimsy, which make them hard to clean, but then again, they ARE silicone so that's to be expected. They are thinner than I was expecting but they do the job.

I keep this silicone mat on my kitchen counter by the coffee pot all the time. It's the biggest one I could find and it works great. Keeps us from banging our ceramic cups etc. on the tile counter top. We also mix drinks on it. It's not very thick, but it doesn't need to be. Wipes clean easily. Love it.

Love, love, love. The blue looks so pretty on my kitchen countertop and perfect size for my countertop oven. Protects the countertop. The second one is used to sit hot pots, pans, etc. on. Protects countertops from the heat.

I think is going to be great for our needs, Our Bunn Coffee maker is resting on it, on top of our new White granite counter tops. I think it will go a long way to preventing stains and scratching of our counter top.

this is quite thin, but it works for what I am using it for. I initially bought it to place excess pots and pans on, which works but drain off most of the water because this mat is very thin and im sure you know what happens next. I switched to using it as a mat to place my dogs water bowl and food bowl on top it. This works even better for this. Compared to other mats, this is more cost effective and gets the job done, so as a dog bowl mat, yes go for it.
