Kernel Season's Buffalo Wing Seasoning, 2.85 Ounce Shakers (Pack of 6) : desertcart.co.uk: Grocery Review: This review is for the Buffalo Wing Popcorn Seasoning. Before I say anything else, let me say: The flavor? YUM! I LOVE buffalo flavored ANYTHING and was very excited to try this one, because I eat popcorn almost every day and already loved some of the other Kernel Season's flavors. That said, holy fire dust it's hard to eat! It's not that it's too spicy (it's not, the flavor is PERFECT...just spicy enough) but no matter what I did, I kept managing to inhale just a tiny bit of powder when I was trying to eat the popcorn and it would induce a coughing fit. I tried using less of the powder (still good...but still coughing!) I tried using the buffalo flavor and then adding the white cheddar seasoning over that to take the edge off (helped a little and was DOGGONE DELICIOUS, but still coughing.) At the end of the day I've realized there's no way around it, unless you want to add the seasoning to butter and then drizzle the butter on the popcorn (and I'm not a butter on my popcorn kinda gal.) I'm sure this is a nonissue when you sprinkle it on anything that has some moisture (like vegetables, or if you added it as a seasoning in a sauce). I've taken to calling it a case of "orange lung". Guess what? I'm still eating it. BOTTOM LINE: Painful, but delicious. Order some! Review: Buy many of the other flavors. Not particularly impressed with this one. But other wise a good product. Note some humidity or oil is needed for the seasoning to adhere to the popcorn.

For the life of me, I can't figure out how everyone is having so much difficultly with this seasoning. It is a fine powder, but how is everyone coughing and inhaling it? I can't say I've ever had this problem. Are y'all using it wrong? Like the clumsy people in infomercials? Pro tip: Use it with a butter flavored cooking spray. It will make the seasoning stick, and you won't have to use as much! At any rate, it's not hot spicy. I dislike overly hot foods, and I absolutely hate buffalo wing sauce flavor. So it's a good thing this tastes nothing like buffalo wing. I'm not sure what it tastes like, but it's very tasty - especially when combined with the butter spay mentioned above.

Great stuff. Spicy, tangy...and if someone tries to steal your popcorn you can throw it in their face and blind them for hours. Seriously, it's potent. It'll make you sneeze and tear up if you're not careful about how you sprinkle it on—kind of like the straight jalapeno they no longer make. Now they just do cheesy jalapeno, probably because whined about temporary—TEMPORARY!—blindness. It's like you guys aren't even committed to your popcorn. IF it's too much for you, you can get a smoother, cooler, and generally less toxic (cowards) experience by cutting the Buffalo Wing with some bleu cheese. This stuff here works pretty well: Blue Cheese Powder by Hoosier Hill Farm 1 lb But I =will= think less of you.

Delicious buffalo flavor but like some other related reviews have said, it's very fine powder and gets up your nose easily. I always end up coughing and blowing my nose when I make popcorn with this, which is annoying. With that being said, it's our favorite popcorn salt and we use it more than any other. It also mixes well with several other favors from the same maker, such as ranch or butter. The very fine nature of the salt makes it adhere to popcorn very well.
