I was unsure about this (as one generally is when ordering a scented product. Online. Without smelling it first.) It really is a lovely smell--definitely very "green" and heavy on the neroli, but in a light and refreshing way. It reminds me of a scent from my childhood (the Calgon/early Bath and Body Works era) but I absolutely cannot put my finger on it. I've been wearing it every day to work and I catch the *faintest* whiff of it at the end of the day, but very rarely, so it's staying power is nonexistent. That's my only complaint, because it smells so nice that I would like it to be a little bit stronger! (For reference, I am 34F and work in an office, so I do think this is a pretty gender neutral scent.)

This is my favorite fragrance. I absolutely love basil 🌿 and this is perfect!!!! I will definitely be buying more, goes well with the deodorant.

This body mist is fresh and bright in the best way. The first thing I notice is the neroli and bergamot—super clean and citrusy, kind of like a spa day in a bottle.Then it settles into this unique combo with basil and lavender that’s herbal but still soft, and the tuberose adds just a hint of something floral without going overboard.The dry down is where it gets interesting—cypress, eucalyptus, and shiso leaf make it feel really cool, crisp, and natural. Honestly, it smells like walking through a garden after it rains. Totally refreshing and perfect if you like something light, woody, green, and a little different. At $45, the price is a bit steep for a body mist- but it is long wearing and has decent projection.

The packaging on this is beautiful. It is packaged like a perfume instead of a mist. Nice box and glass bottle with atomizer. It even resembles a perfume. On first spray the basil is the strongest and it smells quite pleasant. I didnt think an herb smell would be good and a body fragrance but it is. The second smell and strongest is Neroli and I have only smelled Neroli since. I thank this fragrance for finally making me realize I do not like Neroli scents. Ive had them before but as fragrance are so mixed I dont know what Im smelling but its neroli its not for me. If you love Neroli you will love this as it comes through strong and the basil was only smelled on very first spray

The neroli in this fragrance is done very well, light, airy, but definitely present. The basil on the other hand, seems very heavy, and dominates the scent more than I'm ok with. Basil is a strange one, it can be sweet, or herbal, or almost gourmand, and the notes it is juxtaposed with make a big difference as to which of those the basil leans toward. In this fragrance, the neroli stands out as being very fresh and bright, and by comparison the basil is almost cloying, too heavy. I think if you're a big fan of basil, this is the fragrance for you. It is a rich scent, and it lasts a few hours on the skin and even longer on clothes. It is well made and I do love the Salt and Stone brand. I just have to pass on the basil.

This perfume is nothing like I expected.It smells vaguely like mosquito repellent and not much else, it's both cheap and inappropriate.The bottle is good, thick and with a satisfying spray pump action, but otherwise not much to rescue it.

I wasn't sure how I was going to like this perfume before getting it. I really love the scent of basil so I was very curious about it. The basil definitely takes a backseat to the neroli in this fragrance. It's a great scent for Spring and Summer because it's fresh, light, airy and crisp. I think it's definitely a perfect unisex scent because I can see this being enjoyed by a man as much as a woman. It doesn't lean one way more than the other as well. I think it would be great used mainly during the day. It's not too heavy that anyone would find it offensive or obnoxious. It doesn't have the longest staying power on me but I don't mind reapplying. I love the sleek and modern look of the bottle. It would also make a nice gift for someone who enjoys fresh and crisp scents.
