Beautiful metal coins
I haven't got a chance to engrave these coins but I love their color, shiny and smooth surface. I'm waiting for the right reason to engrave and make presents with them, but event just as they are they look beautiful in the case.

Not for CNC engraving
They're nice coin blanks, but they definitely are not brass or bronze core. Broke my metal cutting engraving bit on my CNC because it turns out the core is steel. (Highly magnetic). Also as others have noted, the plating thickness is something like 0.2mm

Good blanks, nice color variety
These are well made blanks with a good finish and color variety. They are uniform in size and the pack I got had no visible flaws. They are a hard metal which means you should know what your engraver is capable of before getting them. Unfortunately, we were new to the engraving world and didn't realize our engraver would not be able to do the job efficiently. That's not to blame the blanks, it was just a learning curb on our part.

Great Quality Coins for Laser Etching
I’ve been using these coins with my xTool F1 Ultra laser, and they’ve worked really well for light etching. The detail comes through clearly, and the variety is decent for different designs. I haven’t tried deep etching yet, but so far, they’ve been as good as other similar coins I’ve used from Amazon. The only downside is that while they come with cases, some arrived with noticeable scuff marks. Luckily, I had some spare cases on hand, so it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, the quality of the coins themselves is solid, making them great for embossing projects. If you're looking for a new batch of coins to test out with your laser, these are definitely worth trying!

Might be a user error, but I haven’t been able to get an emboss on these coins. It's just a mess.
It might be a user error, but I haven’t been able to get an emboss on these coins. It's just a mess. I can achieve a clean-scored design and, with careful adjustments, a good engrave—but that’s not what I was aiming for. Unfortunately, I’ve gone through four so far without getting the result I wanted.

Great for engraving
I like these Homaisson blank challenge coins. They’re the perfect size for my DIY projects, and the quality is impressive – they have a nice, sturdy feel and a beautiful, brushed finish that really pops. The blank surface is ideal for engraving; I personalized a few with special designs, and they turned out great. I also appreciate the individual acrylic boxes, which keep them well-protected and make gifting easy. These coins are versatile and classy, a great find for any DIY enthusiast looking for something special.

Careful when engraving
I got these to practice engraving with my xTool f1 laser. As you can see from my photos I've had an interesting experience on my way to a good engraving. FYI, do not attempt to emboss. The layer of metal on the outside is much too thing to actually go into the surface of the coin. The CR on the is purely a surface engraving. Any etching or embossing I've done has quickly burned through the surface and resulted in a very poor result. I did give them a 4 star rating, as they are what was advertised... a plated metal coin. I'm still not sure what the interior is made of, but when embossing the coin it turned to a dark dust mess very quickly. So as long as all you want to do it engrave the coins, these are great. But just be aware you get what you pay for. These are not a high quality coin. But if you want something fun to engrave with a half decent result, they certainly do the trick.

I used these on the Fiber Laser. Light etching and worked well. Haven't tried to deep etch on them yet.Only down part was they did have cases but they many had some good scuff marks so had to use some others I had on had.Good variety overall. I normally buy in bulk from another source but wanted to try something different.
