Pro: Nice appearance and watch is running.Con: No instructions came with the watch and I initially could not set the time. You have to pull hard on the stem and then there is no "feel" as the hands turn. The "feel" when setting this watch is different than all my previous experience with wind-up pocket watches, when people used them as their only time piece. The other thing missing is instructions for how to change the battery. I assume that one just uses a tool like a screwdriver to pry off the back. I'd like to know the right way to do it.This watch is for a gift, and I would not hesitate to buy another one.

First let me say I am very happy with my purchase however I am going to give this one a 4 star mainly for the same reasons people have posted above.Pro(s):- Watch is amazing looking.- Nice feel in your hand.- Keeps good time so far and I love the fact it ticks just audibly enough to hear when you hold it to look at it.Con(s):- As others have stated time and again there are no instructions what so ever. Luckily the seller or someone set the time initially on the watch to my timezone and almost to the second with what my atomic synced cell phone shows. (granted this could be pure coincidence but..)- I only ordered one watch but as others have noted the watch box came in a larger Amazon shipping box and unlike any other amazon package I have ever received there was NO packing material whatsoever. None, Zip, Nill, Nada. There is foam in the smaller watch box but in my case the watch box was crushed on one side (even tho there were no other things in the amazon box) The item was unharmed as far as i can see but the internals must have taken quite a beating. Might be why some peoples stop working after a few weeks.Overall not a bad watch and I am happy with my purchase thus far. I will update this review if anything changes.

This is a elegant black steampunk watch with chain. I love the feel of it in my hand, not too light not heavy. It feels solid and sturdy. I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 15 year old son who loves pocket watches with chains. He likes to wear them because they make him feel well dressed and sophisticated. I know he'll love this with the steampunk design, black metal, and Roman numerals.The seller was really great too. I had received my order without a chain and reached out to the seller who quickly rectified the situation. So now my son has a watch and chain. I will definitely do business with this seller - Top-well - again for more watches in the future when the need arises.

They screwed up the engraving. I asked for 8/13/16. they engraved 8/13/201616-07-27 i have no idea what that means. The front of the watch was to be engraved with Alexzander above the small a they engraved a esf what ever that means. The watch is very cheap looking. The watch is running slow. i have changed the time several times and it isn't keeping the correct time.

If you're not in a hurry as far as shipping, this is an amazing value! I ordered well in advance for my wedding, and it's actually nicer than I thought. The engraving was perfect, and I'm sure the recipient will love it! I definitely recommend this product!!

This watch is good quality for the price. The chain is long enough. The color matches a myriad of clothing and looks good. The window on the front cover is great for quick checks of the time. Problems arise with the material, and the ring on top. Often times the wring, as you remove the watch from your pocket, hangs down in front of the cover, preventing you from opening the watch. The material, while looking quite presentable, feels like plastic. Also, the watch is very light and perhaps a little small. The ring is a much more annoying problem than the material, and the complaints are small. Overall the watch is great.

THIS IS NOT ENGRAVED AND NOT THE COLOR LETTERING SHOWN IN THE PICTURES, First, the lettering is gold colored stickers or paint, not engraved, I expect it will come off over time with handling. Second, when I got the watch it wasn't working. I can set the time and click it down but it's randomly moving and isn't keeping time and I can't figure out how to replace the battery or check to see if it's loose without risking damaging the watch. I contacted the seller and if they can help my replace the battery or reseat the battery I may change the review to 2 stars and update that they were or were not helpful. Third, the watch has some scratches and dents on it around the plastic face on the "black metal" part. I don't have time for a replacement before my daughters bday. If you're ok with it not actually being engraved and you get a working and fully functioning watch it might be worth the price to you. I did 40 letters on the back and 6 on the front and the size is nice and easy to read.

I received mine yesterday and I was AMAZED how quickly it got here, but I was even more amazed by the beauty of this watch and the engraving. I chose front and back for engraving, I had asked if it could have 3 hearts on it and really didn't get a reply, so not only was it exactly what I asked for the 3 hearts were on it!!! Super SUPER happy!!!!!!!!!
