Very good value - spare ferrules available.
Having been though many websites, looking for good quality poles, for the taller person and seeing prices nearing £100, I finally opted for these budget ones instead. They were delivered via Millets and arrived within 3 days.Adjustable up to 135cm, (like line props, they screw into one another) they were fine for use on level ground as a balance support on pavements and came with optional ferrules, which have proved very hard wearing. These poles are sprung-loaded, which are helpful if clawing your way up a slope.Longer poles are useful when descending hills, so were I to take up hill walking at any time, then I'd definitely seek taller poles of 145cm height.

Only 1 Stick so order 2!
Product seems good but as all the reviews speak about them in the plural I thought there would be 2 so I had to order another one. I was in a hurry so think this should be made clearer.

I like the fact that with would fold down as it ...
used for a 23 mile hike. Took the pressure off my knee and assisted me with ascents and declines. I like the fact that with would fold down as it meant I could attach to my bag when not in use.

Easy to use
I love this walking stick; it looks attractive and easy to use. There was no assembly instructions on arrival but a good YouTube video was excellent in giving me tips on how to set it up and use it to the best advantage.

Good product but not very sturdy
Good pole but not very sturdy and can collapse at times if not tightened properly

Just the job !
I have used walking poles for decades, and still do, while disabled and in my late eighties. Chose these because they tick the boxes and are from a trusted retailer. All they lack are extra bits that used sometimes to be included in a carrying case, but essentially they have the bouncy ends to ease pressure, very important.
