Eh. I usually hate glue traps, but the flies this year were unbearable—even in our screened gazebo—so I finally gave in and bought these. At first, they didn’t seem to do anything for a few days. Then, once one fly got stuck, the rest quickly followed. Pretty effective… until things went sideways.Somehow, we must have had a nest of katydids nearby. A few ended up in the gazebo, and one curious katydid got caught in the trap. I was able to free it but not without sacrificing a wing, so that was enough for me. I immediately took the traps down and tossed the other one.I'm giving these 5 stars because they really do work, but they work for all flying insects, not just flies. In our situation, even with a screened area, they trapped insects I didn’t want to harm. So, unfortunately, this isn’t a solution for me.

have had two of these in garage for over two weeks and not a single fly caught. Lots of flies get in garage and into house through garage. I tried these because of good reviews and more sightly that the traditional coil tape type but those traditional coil types would be covered in 2 weeks. Disappointed so far.

These work very well. Catch a lot of flying bugs. Not too bad to look at.

We absolutely love these. They keep the flies out of the breezeway. Recently we had a bee problem and they worked great. At the gazebo they catch mosquitoes and the flies.

So far I like this easy fly-trap. I tried others from Amazon but they were sticky and difficult to hang. The plug-in ones were not very useful as well. I don't have many flies or gnats or mosquitoes but for some reason this summer I have had a few of each in my house. Within minutes of unpacking this fly-trap I knew I had made the right choice. I like that you can hang it or set it on a counter. It is sticky but due to the plastic rings on each end I don't have to touch the sticky part. I did though to see if it is really sticky and trust me it is. I am pretty sure I've found the right trap for my house and the cost is so reasonable. It is sturdy, well made and pretty large! It was shipped quickly as I had ordered it yesterday and it arrived this morning. So far, so good!

Cute and super sticky. However there is no place to put an attractant, honey etc. so it’s basically just luck if they get stuck.
