Love this one better
The rubberized connectors on top of the bucket stopped all leaks as compared to the buffalo brand! Love this one better!

Leaky trap
Trap leaks. Blue gaskets do not prevent leaking. Previous traps have had plastic extension up to tubing. Poor design

Need to bang lid shut with hammer
Description says you don’t need any tools, and the lid LOOKS to be sealed to the bucket, but you still have the bang the lid HARD with a hammer to seal the lid down. I wish I’d known this before flooding the lab. Ps Midwest dental sells trap-eze 3.5 buckets $23.95

Pipe grommets leaked.
Connection pipe size was not typical. Had to cut off tubular extensions and zip tie rubber collar. The grommets then leaked around the lid. I had to take them off and silicone to seal.

What took so long?
Item took a substantial amount of time in shipping and it came unassembled and could not be assembled as designed because the unattached lid required substantial pressure to mount. Even tried using a heavy rubber mallet that did not work. Finally had to remove the sealing strip in order to properly place and seal the lid. I hope it doesn't start leaking. The previous plaster traps we've purchased always came with the lid properly mounted, so we were surprised to receive an unassembled unit that could not be assembled easily using standard hand tools. Perhaps including assembly instructions would have been a nice, expected addition. What started as a simple installation morphed into a time consuming hassle.
