for suspense
Just wrapped up reading this book by Holly Jackson. It’s an absolute page turner, no doubt about it. A classic whodunit but interesting plot considering the primary character is the one who gets murdered and she has only seven days to live. She decides to find her killer and solve her own murder case. Many unexpected twists and turns later the author lands on the accursed. Only small issue I had with this book is the lack for strong motive for the murder and how the family completely ignores the dying daughter when she is trying very hard to find her killer. A total 4 out of 5 for suspense.

Great story but terrible audiobook.
The story is fast paced and thrilling and full of twists. It was a bit emotional towards the end.I listened to the audiobook and the narrator is terrible. I’d recommend this book but not the audiobook.

Love it
What would you do if you had just seven days to live… and those seven days were your only shot at finding out who tried to kill you?Jet, the protagonist, doesn’t have the luxury of curling up in a blanket and binge-watching crime shows. She is the crime show, only the stakes are her own life. With a brain injury fogging her memory and a ticking clock haunting her every move, she starts untangling a knot of suspects, secrets, and truths that don’t want to be found. This book had me constantly asking: Who can you trust when everyone has a motive? I loved how it kept me guessing till the very last page, dropping clues like breadcrumbs but never giving away the full loaf. It’s dark in places, surprisingly witty in others, and uncomfortably real in its portrayal of fear and urgency.Personally, I was hooked from the start and couldn’t put it down. I loved the book — but I’ll admit, I wanted a different ending. Still, the ride was so thrilling that I’d happily recommend it to any mystery or thriller fan.Moral of the story? Don’t mess with someone who has nothing left to lose.
