Great question! Our original bags do indeed say "Anwhere" This is because we are awesome at making fire starters and not so awesome at spell checking our packaging. Embarrassing, I know but we all make mistakes. We have since corrected the misspelled word and updated our packaging.

Q: How do these compare to Fatwood? I use daily for my Woodstove my only heat source.

They work great compared to fat wood. Our fire starters act as tinder and kindling to ensure your wood stove is lit on the first try every time. A single plug will burn for 5+ minutes and they're great to have on hand for emergencies.

Q: Can these be ignited with a ferro rod?

Absolutely, Even better they can be lit with the spark wheel on an empty Bic lighter. Just make sure to expose the fibers and you will have a fire in no time!
