Purchased as part of a Christmas gift for a beginner coin collector. He put batteries in in right away and started to look at coins he received. Others at the gathering asked to use it also. All indicated the item's large handle and the light were great.

I bought one of these because I have the beginnings of cataracts and it was getting difficult to read things. What I love about this is the 30X power and the 12 bright LEDS that illuminate brightly. I liked this so much I bought another so I could keep one downstairs by my computer and one upstairs by the bed.Runs on two small penlight batteries that were supplied. It is well built and sturdy and it is white so it's easy to see in low light conditions and the price is very reasonable for such a nice glass. IMO, you can't go wrong with this.

It magnifies good, but it’s hard getting it positioned where it’s not blurry.

The leds are fine, but reflect off the glass, making vision difficult. Magnification is as expected. The round shape doesn’t seem to work for me unless I’m focused on one spot. Reading is wavy for me, but may be my multiple eye ailments. Due to the glass lens, this is surprisingly heavy and wearing on my joints. I got all that I ordered, but was hoping for a miraculous vision improvement for fine print. Thank you for the quick delivery!

This magnifying glass is really good the light is really helpful. It is a little heavy but was easy to use it has a wide handle that is helpful. Definitely worth the money which was not a lot for what you get.

very nicely made and not cheap feeling but, it requires you to hold it like literally almost on top of whater you want to view for it to magnify it so you can see it clearly. it does magnify small print well that way but, since i bought so i could magnify the half markings on my cat's insulin syringes, having to literally hold magnifier right next to syringe doesn't allow me to adjust dose while looking through magnifier like i can do with my weaker version. Decided since this is heavy duty, we will keep this magnifier anyways for it does make it so you can read the ever growing super fine print manufacturers seem to purposely put on products so you can't read them.
