VERABENDI Women's Cold Shoulder Midi Dress Short Sleeve Swing Dress with Pockets

Hello everyone.. I'm not big on writing reviews, but I had to do this one. I looked at this dress several times and read all the reviews before I decided to just go ahead and order. I ordered 2 the black and royal blue, I usually order an extra large just to be on the safe side, but I went with the reviews and ordered a size down. I was already prepared to have to send them back. The royal blue came sooner than expected. Ok, so I open the package and the first thing I do is feel the material, wow was I surprised, soft, not thin, so you don't have to worry about see thru. Next came the try on. OMG did I fall in love with this dress. It is the perfect summer dress, it's light weight, flows nicely, I'm 5'6 and it hits me a little below my knees and the big plus for me hides all your flaws, if you have any. I cannot wait for the black one to come (due today). I'm going to have a hard time deciding which one to wear first. I really wish it came in more summer colors, because I think I would have every color. THANK YOU VERABENDI FOR MAKING MY PERFECT SUMMER DRESS!!!!!! P.S. consider adding some more summer colors. I'm a truly satisfied customer!!!!! I received the black dress definitely thinking about getting another color. If only it came in brighter colors. Love this dress.

I normally wear a size medium. After reading the reviews I ordered a size small. I fit just as expected. Flowing and loose but not baggy. I am 5'5" and weigh 130 lbs. I hope this has been helpful.

Dress is a nice material and it is roomy and comfortable. I bought the magenta color and it is slightly sheer at the top, but a nude bra should work fine - there is enough flowy material at the bottom that it is not as sheer there. I am 5’6” and 145/150 lbs, athletic build, 34C. I bought a medium and it was flowy and roomy. It fell well below my knee. I probably could have sized down to a small, but overall I like the fit. It also looks nice with a wide belt.

I loved the material and the fact the dress has pockets!! However, even after following the suggested size chart and previous customers comments, the dress size I bought (small) was way too big. I originally bought the dress for my son's graduation, but ended up wearing something else. Now its just an overpriced lounging around the house dress or beach cover up.

I'm only giving this dress 3 stars because the sizing is inconsistent, material is thin and see-through and I was sent the wrong size for both the dresses I ordered. My measurements are 39.5 inch bust, 33.5 inch waist and 40 inch hips. 36D/DD bra, 12/14 dress, 5'3" and 155 lbs. I bought the royal blue dress last summer. The material is fabulous and the dress looks awesome! I came back this year for the dark red and the black. The material for these two is not as substantial as the royal blue. The black dress isn't bad, but when held up, you can see through it. I expect to wear a slip, I just don't know how well this material will stand up to the gentle wash cycle and hanging to dry. Looks like it'll stretch out of shape it's so thin. The dark red dress looked awful! It was visibly shorter and smaller than the black dress. The material of the dark red was even more see-through than the black. The black dress fell well below my knees. The red dress was slightly above my knees and showed every lump and bump I have. Both dresses sent were a size medium. I ordered large in both dresses. The dresses run both big and small. The black dress fit nicely and looked really good. So that dress ran large. The dark red dress was probably a true medium, which for me, was too small. The large I ordered probably would have fit better. I sent both dresses back. I felt like this was a bait and switch. When I order a specific size, that's what I expect to be sent, not something else to see if I'll keep it. Don't know if I'll order from this seller again.

Looooooove this dress and the material! Perfect for hot Arizona evenings. Drapes well and can I say I love the material!

This dress is super comfy! It may not be super flattering but I love it. I wear an xl and I bought an xl. Perfect!

I am in LOVE with this dress! I want more in other colors! Great for year round. Super soft, I want to live in it but I’m holding back so I don’t get it messed up. I am 5’3” and wear a size 18/20 jeans and the XL fits so wonderfully, for my height the front and back hits about mid calf and the sides hit just below the knee. It’s very loose but has great shape at the same time, the sleeves and pockets help with the shape. I’m posting pictures that don’t do it justice because I’m having to take hem myself. Please buy this dress!!
