Excellent supplement for dog lymphoma
Our dog has lymphoma and after scouring the internet and talking to others with dogs with lymphoma this Onco Support came highly recommended. It has all the necessary ingredients to support his system while undergoing treatments and as well as for those who elect non treatment. I combine this with Super Snout Mushrooms mixed in his food with a little warm water and he eats it up. Prior, he had gone over 4 days refusing food and vomiting but has not had one issue since returning to eating with this supplement added to his food. His energy level is back to some degree and I am just happy to know he’s getting the necessary quality supplements to support his entire system as he battles this horrid disease. Onco Support is a rather fine power and comes with a scoop. One scoop is suggested once a day. Once it is mixed with food, either wet or dry, it mixed in great. With water it does get a little thick only to a light gravy texture but my dog loves that. One could just add more water or no water at all if their dog doesn’t like that consistency in their food. There isn’t any odor and a little goes a long way. Once again, this product came highly recommended for dogs with lymphoma and I couldn’t be more happy with this product.

Excellent for post cancer dog
My 10 yr old Siberian husky underwent radiation and chemo last year for a grade II mast cell tumor with lymph node infiltration. She got through it all fine, but was recovering slowly from the effects of the treatment. I started supplementing her with this about 5 months ago, and then stopped for a month because I was giving her so many supplements that some seemed redundant. I noticed a marked difference in her activity level after stopping treatment. She was less inclined to play, and slept more (enough that I brought her into the vet to have blood work done). The vet found nothing wrong. The only change I had made was taking her off the supplement. So needless to say, she is back on it, and thankfully, her activity level is increasing. It's palatable, easy to feed (comes with a scoop), and has a god ingredient list. I also like this company's nutrigest product, and feed it to my GSD, who has a tendency toward digestive upset. I buy their products with confidence that they do what they profess.

Good product for the right dog, but if your dog is allergic to nutritional yeast, you might want to pass.
As you can see from other reviews, this is a fantastic product - for the right dog. We recently adopted a 13 year old dog with a number of health issues, and having used other products from this company, I purchased this as a vitamin supplement that I could use on all my dogs (with my vet's OK). I started the dogs out on a half dose, and 2 of them ended up with diarrhea. Again, NOT unusual when you make changes to a dog's diet, so I cut back to a quarter dose. Still terrible diarrhea. That's when I put on reading glasses and took a closer look at the label, and saw that the fourth ingredient on the label is Nutritional Yeast. The 2 dogs that were reacting badly to the product are allergic to Nutritional Yeast. Unfortunately, neither the Amazon description nor the product page at the manufacturer's website at rxvitamins - dot - com (if I put in the link, Amazon will delete it, so just replace "dot" with a ".") provide any information on the actual ingredients in the product. Here is information off the side of the bottle: Active Ingredients per scoop: L-Glutamine (2500 mg), Kelp Powder (760 mg), Lecithin Granules (760 mg), Nutritional Yeast (760 mg), Bio-Agaricus (600 mg),L-Arginine (500 mg), Green Tea Extract (500 mg), Spirulina (500 mg), Sodium Ascorbate (250 mg), Larch Arabinogalactin (250 mg), Silymarin (150 mg), Del-Immune V (25 mg), Zinc picolinate (15 mg), Vitamin A (500 IU), Vitamin E (200 IU), Vitamin D (75 IU), Selenium (25 mcg). Cautions: Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. Directions for use: For each 50 lbs. (22.7 kg) of body weight, mix 1 scoop in your pet's food once daily or as prescribed by your veterinarian. Higher does have been associated clinically with increased formula efficiency. Like I said above, the website does not give any of this information, so you may have to call or email the company directly. Contact info is on their website. So, this is a terrific product IF your dog is not allergic to any of the ingredients; in the case of 2 of my dogs, that is nutritional yeast. Had that information been available in the product description or on the manufacturer's website, I would have passed on this particular supplement.

Love this stuff!
My dog was diagnosed with grade three mast cell cancer a year-and-a-half ago and at that time we put her on OncoSupport. With the help of OncoSupport, she beat the cancer, however she was diagnosed with osteosarcoma this past November. She had her leg amputated and is still on the OncoSupport and is doing amazing! She has no metastasis at this point and is a very happy healthy girl! I took her off of it for about a month and could definitely tell the difference in her energy level. I will admit it gets very expensive giving for scoops per day, but this is what works for her and I will continue to give her the office support until she is no longer with me, which I hope will be a long time from now.
