Q: Will this help calm my 80lb shepherd mix from fireworks and thunder storms?

Yes, many of our customers purchase melatonin to help alleviate dog's stress with fireworks, thunder storms, anxiety, etc. Based on your dog's size however, you would most likely want to give them 2 tablets OR you can go to our Amazon Storefront and purchase a 6MG tablet and give 1 of those. We recommend giving to your dog at least 1 hour prior to the event.

Q: I need help with my dogs “sleeping in” shes been trying to wake us up between 3:30-4am to go out & eat.. would this help her to sleep longer?

My 14 yeaqr old Shih Tzu was waking up at midnight ready for her morning walk and would keep asking to go outside every 10 minutes. Spoke with a friend who rescues Greyhounds and she told me to try Melatonin but not to get one for humans because some have additives harmful to dogs. I tried this and my dog has slept through the night until 6am ever since. I give her half a tablet, because of her weight, around 6:30pm. I think the directions say to give it closer to bed time but it works better for her when I give to her around 6:30pm. For the price it was worth a try and that was several bottles ago. Good luck.
