Pleasantly surprised at the build and sound quality from this tiny little amplifier. I wanted an old-school analog amplifier for my vintage turntable and this thing didn't disappoint. I paired it with a pair of Polk Audio Signature Elite ES15 speakers and I'm really pleased with the sound. The amp is designed around the very successful Texas Instruments TPA3255 Class D amplifier which has a very natural sound with low noise. The build quality is very good for what I was expecting from Amazon/China - the finish is very good and the switches and knobs are of very good quality.

I needed a simple amplifier for listening to streaming music in my office at work. We are restricted from using anything with wireless technology in our area so it couldn't have Bluetooth. I wanted something with separate bass and treble controls and some enough power to push my bookshelf speakers which are fed through a passive subwoofer. This little amp seemed to fit the bill, so I took a chance and I'm happy I did. The build quality is very good and the sound quality is outstanding (to me). I especially like how my little subwoofer sounds at low volume with the bass knob turned to about 75% (like a "loudness" control); it's very smooth and full with good punch when the music calls for it. I'm unable to detect any noise in the sound, and without doing any testing, I'm confident the frequency bandwidth is as flat and broad as advertised. The tone adjustments are wide ranging without the treble adding harshness or the bass making things muddy. The knobs have a quality feel, with a bit of tactile "micro-detent" feedback when turning. Admittedly my ears aren't what they used to be, but I think this amp sounds excellent, especially considering the price. The only downside so far is that it gets very warm, even when it's not being used. I think it might get pretty hot when pushed hard for a while, so people with higher power demands should watch for that. Since I'm in an office environment, however, that won't ever be an issue for me. Bottom line, if you're looking for a basic, compact, quality-built amp with some decent power for passive bookshelf speakers at a great price, I think you'd be hard pressed to do better than this.

The actual product works great and is really compact which makes it’s easy to put anywhere. Super helpful to not have a pre amp and just run this instead with the phone setup. Everything works great but the reason for 4 stars was the control dials fell off upon arrive but it was -35 c outside most likely causing the issue.

With the tone switch keep it on and this amp really has good bass. I am impressed as it the first true step up from the Aiyima AO7. Even with the Fossi it sounded a bit plain but this amp is totally worth 100 dollars and does exactly what you want at around 100w. I left my DAC on the same adjustments set for bass and with the bass turned to 55 percent on this amp it really sounds full now so you can use a dac with bass treble controls set, then the amp adds an extra layer with its controls. Amp has gain. even compared to the other amps with 48v power supply. Oh and it is so compact too. It does get warm I use a USB fan.

I was looking to replace my very large AV receiver I was using to power my bookshelf speakers and sub when listening to music. Theres no reason they need to be that big. I just need a simple 2.1 amp for my simple iPod setup. There are plenty of sub $100 amps with 2.0 channel support but it was harder than I thought it would be to find an amp with 2.1 support. I'm glad I took a gamble on this amp, its proven to be powerful enough for my Polk T15 speakers and Polk PSW10 sub and provides great sound quality. The amp does get warm but I listen to it for 8+ hours a day as background music and it never gets hot. Very happy with this purchase.
