Yeah, I like it. Should be the last one I ever need to buy.
Working in an engineering office, I need this. I'd used the ProjectCalc (also by CI) for 20 years. I bought it for $9 at the big blue retailer (you know the one with its own quirky set of meme-worthy shoppers showing more unsightly butt and bosom crack than anyone has ever wanted to see). It still works but the keys have gotten a little lazy so I invested in this one. It works really well. The only complaint I have about the Measure Master Pro calculator is that I wish it had the attached cover so the unit opens like a book. On the ProjectCalc, the cover folds all the way back behind the calculator. the Measure Master Pro's cover has to be slid off the front and slid onto the back side. What I don't like about that is that the fit is so tight it's not easy to pry it down so it can slide of, no matter what side it's on. As a result (and the picture shows this) I've had to not slide the cover fully on so it's easy to remove. Technically, I don't have to do that. I could just leave it on my desktop and it'll be fine. But I'm to obsessive-compulsive to do that so I have to close it and put it in its place in the top drawer. Normally, I suppose having the cover not fully on is ok, but, again, I'm too OC for that. Some things, you just have to live with, though, and, in the grand scheme of things, it amounts to a whole lot of nothing, so I can overlook that and not let it affect its rating. How the calculator functions is, by far, more important, and it functions as intended and well.

Just what I needed
I was in the process of using some Blum drawer slides which are manufactured in Europe. Specifications are metric with some metric to english (inches) conversions provided. I could have easily determined a milimeter to inch conversion factor but why should I have do this manual conversion again and again with the possibility of making an error due to keying in something incorrectly? I first went online. I expected that there would be "free" metric to english conversion programs. There are, but, some are quite old. Some want money but provide more capability than needed. Would the older software work correctly with my newer, Windows 7? Some were free but online and "collected" data from your online usage. Who needs that snooping? I once had a calculator that would convert back and forth so I started looking for calculators. This calculator not only solves my first problem, it also helps me in my woodworking shop by working with fractions and by converting decimal values to fractions. For example, I use a digital micrometer to makes measurements. The result is in decimal values such as .625. But what is this in equavalent fractional inches? This is an easy "head number", 5/8. But other fractions are not quite so familiar. With this calculator, you can easily convert from a decimal number to a fraction. I haven't used it for very long but I expect it to make my woodworking projects less prone to error. I think the price was also quite reasonable for a special purpose calculator.

A good product with a few minor issues
This is a good product that does exactly what I expected. But, it only came with a Spanish language User Guide, which is obviously a packaging error because everything else, including the box, is in English. When I registered the product with Calculated Industries I requested an English version, but I'm still waiting and it's been several months. The "electronic paper tape" is useful for review of entries, but it would be much more useful if it allowed individual entries to be edited. Unfortunately, you have to re-enter the entire list if there is one error. I also have an HP 17BII business calculator (that died after 20 years) which keeps long summation lists in memory, and allows editing of individual entries, so I have become accustomed to that feature. But except for these few issues, I'm pleased with this calculator.

Works as it is supposed to
The previous foot-inch calculator that I bought in 1985 finally bit the dust. It was sort of a shame I had to buy a new one, with so little time left in my work career, but if that "primitive" version, also by Calculated Industries, lasted so long, I would hope that the new one would too.It works just fine, but the older version had a single button for "Convert to," which the new version does not have. But if you double click the "foot" key, it switches from a decimal feet (say, 5.5') to foot/inches (say, 5'-6").Also a plus, the hard, slip on back shell can be reversed to be a hard cover for the front of the unit during transit. My old calculator, with a soft cover, occasionally turned on during transit, using up battery life.

Must have for any woodshop!
I am loving this calculator, perfect for any woodworker. Calculates board feet, easily calculate fractional inches, even doing conversions. Good visibility, pretty intuitive and easy to use, I keep it on my outfeed table/assembly bench and would highly recommend it!
