We purchased this to replace an old Dometic AC. BEST PURCHASE EVER. this 18k cools the rv in some of the hottest conditions. Super quiet. Self installed. I say the best RV AC out there.

I ended up returning this because my unit ended up coming with this kit, I ordered them at the same time. With that said the kit fits perfectly and I had no issues with the install. The screw holes all lined up, the included hardware is great and the remote syncs with the unit and has follow me so the temp is measured where the remote sits. My rig has ducts so I mostly use them but when I'm hot and need a quick cool down then opening the dump delivers cold air shower which is awesome. For my Jayco Northpoint the included additional dam piece fit perfectly, I didn't need to trim it.

Work like it should great job

Furrion could do a lot better job of letting people know they NEED to buy this when they buy the air conditioner. I had to dig around a while. Other than that, works exactly as it should, and installed exactly as explained in instructions.

Awesome product

Installed August 2025 The part fits Furrion 18k model. I like the swing vent and the ability to stop the swing motion wherever we need. I especially like the “Follow Me “ feature of the remote control. Keep in mind it’s line of sight so I installed sideways aiming towards the A/C. “Follow Me” feature has the remote send temperature from the location of the remote every 3 minutes to the A/C which addresses the issue people have with Furrion units thinking the set temperature was reached when read by the sensor at the return air vent.

Have had this for about two months and absolutely love it! Decided to go with the non ducted for my living room area. Has made my living room much more bearable during the summer time in las vegas. Keeps it at 70 degrees even when its well over 100 degrees outside. The noise level is so quite, its nice to be able to have a conversation indoors, and be able to hear my tv and watch movies again during the summer time. Even on the highest setting "turbo" it's only about as loud as my tower fan. Very comparable to a mini split as far as sound. Installation was a breeze, but the divider didn't say anything about having to cut it down depending on your roof depth. Easy enough with a box cutter and the lines are already pre marked on it. I plan on switching all of my units out with this as well.

Item seemed fine. It wasn't what we needed so I returned it. Originally half my money was taken for restocking and shipping but after emailing with them they worked with me on that.

Once this ADB was connected to the chill cube 18kbtu, my project was complete. Installation was straight forward. Cuttable air divider was included, to accommodate different roof thicknesses. Instructions could be better, as well as packaging. Remote is helpful, and provides bracket to mount like a thermostat to the trailer wall. Very happy with the functionality, and ease of install.

I have been waiting for an inverter air conditioner like this for a few years. I can run it off a 2000 watt champion inverter generator running on propane. I just have to keep the air conditioner in low or medium fan speed to stay in the load range for the inverter. Used it quite a few times this summer and fall without any issues.

It's a good well-designed kit that's easy to install. The remote needs to be very close though...that's the only thing.

This replaced our brand new 13.5k HE unit which couldn’t run on anything other than 30A shore power. This one ramps up to about 10-20A depending on settings. It can therefore run off battery/inverter or a small generator. Plus it seems to cool better and at half the volume. Shocking improvement. They should come with these from the factory!

Works well
