Game changer product for consistent heals
My artist doing my sleeve uses this method for healing and it has been the game changer. My skin has been so angry and painful in the past and resulted in heavy scabbing no matter how particular I am about caring for it and my tattoo on my leg suffered from areas with color fall out. With this my arm tattoos have suffered no color loss or heavy scabbing. So after the tattoo is done you can either go straight to this but you will probably need to replace after a day due to all the plasma goop leaking from your tattoo. For me I end up just plastic/saran first day while leaking stage then I put this on after 24 hours because it's not the easiest to get off. Be super thorough in washing as your tattoo and have skin very dry for this to adhere well. For best results make sure to have a bit extra of this as a perimeter around your tattoo to prevent leakage than just the tattooed area. Make sure to shave hair where it goes since it will pull at your hairs! If you have any areas with leaks or peeling up, instead of pulling off all of it I think it's easier to cut small strips to patch what you already have on and leave your tattoo alone. I leave mine on for 5 days (website says 6 days max). You can move fairly well with it on as it has a little give. I had some on my elbow and it only restricted it slightly, but most of the time I didn't feel it.At this point my tattoo at least isn't a open wound and I feel better about it not being open to touching a bunch of dirty surfaces during it's most critical stage. It is a breathable bandage so it is getting oxygen in there. It will feel sensitive or weird for a moment after you uncover it since it was under wraps. It peels a little bit after for a few days but nothing major. I switch to a nice natural tattoo salve after the Saniderm comes off.The one downside is the taking off the bandage. It is pretty stuck on there and if you peel it slowly it can take me up to 20minutes for large pieces. I peel a corner and run it under the shower with some soap to loosen. When you pull, pull it against itself and not pull up so it comes off easier. From now on, this will be part of my healing method. I will never be without a roll! Check out my sleeve progress pic....you can't tell what was done the night before and about to get saniderm (top) vs what is healed(bottom)!Seriously consider using this if you aren't great about keeping it clean, work in a industry where it wouldn't be great to have an open wound, or if you want consistently good heals.

but it is by far the best aftercare system I've ever used for my tattoos in ...
I have used this to heal a few small tattoos, one medium-sized piece, and a large lower stomach piece. I did very thorough research before using it and encourage any and everyone using it for the first or second time to do so. It can be a little tricky at first, but it is by far the best aftercare system I've ever used for my tattoos in terms of convenience and being safe and sanitary. My aftercare process is as follows:1) Get home, take off tattooer-provided plastic wrap, bring tattoo goo soap and antibacterial hand soap into the shower with me. Wash hands, then tattoo thoroughly to get rid of any blood, ink, and plasma. Get out, dry hands with paper towels and PAT tattoo and surrounding area dry. Wait a few minutes.2) Apply saniderm as directed to tattoo, being sure to leave an inch or two of extra space surrounding the tattoo. It's worth noting the area is hairless, either naturally or from shaving. For the first 24 hours, it's gonna look pretty grody. Your tattoo will secrete blood, plasma, excess ink, all perfectly normal. The saniderm should catch all of it. I'm attaching a video of my tattoo after 24 hours and you can see for yourself what I mean.3) After 24 hours, get in the shower and shower normally, letting the water run over the saniderm area as much as possible. After I've completely finished showering (hair, body, exfoliate, shaving, face, etc), I wash my hands in the shower as done before and, with the water running over the saniderm area, SLOWLY and CAREFULLY remove the saniderm at a steady pace. Sometimes I'll pull at the surrounding areas first so the only saniderm stuck is on the tattoo itself. The warm water loosens the adhesive and ensures a smooth removal. If you remove without it, the adhesive will be extremely sticky, will tug at the sensitive tattoo area, and even leave behind some leftover adhesive. Ask me how I know.4) Wash the tattoo as before. I'll go over it one or two extra times to ensure the adhesive is all completely gone. Then, as before, get out of the shower, dry hands and tattooed area, and apply a new layer of saniderm. This one can stay on for up to 7 days.5) Repeat steps 3 and 4 after a week tops, but this time a new layer of saniderm is optional and, honestly, typically not necessary.6) For the remainder of the tattoo healing process, apply a LIGHT layer of hustle butter as needed (very sparingly). My tattoos are mostly healed if not completely by this point. The only complications I've had using this were:1) Applying it too tight. Caused the edge of the saniderm to stretch, blister, and scab. I removed the existing layer of saniderm, applied a new one, and it healed just fine.2) Removing it when the hot water heater wussed out. See step 3.3) I used it to heal my elbow piece, which is right over the joint. This was in mid-May Tulsa heat. The second layer withstood about 24 hours of sweating and bending before it started to come off. I could have either re-applied and done a few overlapping layers or just dry-healed the tattoo. I opted for the latter. The pictures I've attached are from 1) Right before I removed the first layer, 2) Right after I applied the second layer, and 3) 5 days later, post-saniderm removal and hustle butter application. All of the tattoos I have healed, and a few feet I've given to friends, and I still have about half a roll left. Needless to say I am a big fan.Hustle Butter Deluxe - Tattoo Butter for Before, During, and After the Tattoo Process - Lubricates and Moisturizes - 100% Vegan Replacement for Petroleum-Based Products - 5 oz

WILL NEVER GET A NEW TATTOO WITHOUT THIS STUFF
I am a TERRIBLE healer when it comes to tattoos. My artist recommended this for the next time I got a tattoo so I bought it ahead of time. I still can't get over the difference! My tattoo didn't have ANY of the scabbing that I've experienced with aaaall of my previous tattoos. The colors are way more vibrant after 2 weeks and I'm still in shock that this stuff worked this amazing!

If you're healing a tattoo, this is an absolute must.
If you're healing a tattoo, this is an absolute must and beyond worth the money (there's a lot in this role). Post-session for several days. Remove, wash, let dry out completely, put new Saniderm on for another 2-3. Repeat until you are no longer peeling. Sleep, work, exercise, shower, all with it on. After that first 4-5 days, just replace as it seems necessary (get water under it, starts coming off on it's own, etc). You'll come out the other end with a perfectly healed piece of art meticulously designed and put under your skin, that you paid and suffered for.

This stuff is the bomb!
I love this for healing a tattoo. My first big tattoo was horrible. It scabbed really bad & the itching was crazy. The 2nd tattoo, the artist used this. You keep the orginal one on 24 hours. Plasma leaks etc YOU JUST LEAVE IT ON THEN REMOVE AND REPLACE AT 24 HOURS. I left the 2nd one on for another 6 days. Took it off & omg. No bleeding ink. No nothing. Clean lines. Barely itched. Didnt scab. Just ordered me a box and it came today bc Im getting another tattoo tonight and many more to come. Im not sure if this artist uses this so I had to have it just in case. Its pricey but well worth it & on the box, it says it has other uses which are worth checking into.
