I thought "USB-C" was supposed to be an improvement over Micro-USB. In a number of ways it has been. Unfortunately, those improvements (easy-to-plug in connections, ability to carry charging voltages for different devices, etc.) for me don't off-set what has become the potential for some very expensive repair costs. I've now had to deal with two devices that have had failures of the actual USB-C ports. The first is my wife's Samsung Galaxy 9 phone. The charging port has become loose from its mount on the phone's circuit board. I had planned to tear the phone down and replace the port with a new circuit board card that's available, but I did a similar tear down on her older LG to replace its battery, and that was no fun and not a quick thing to do. I've avoided repairing her Samsung thanks to its ability to charge via Qi charging. The second device is a Chromebook laptop my great-great niece owns, that charges via USB-C. It too has developed a major problem with its charge port, although it did not come loose from the motherboard. No, the port has had the double-sided contact pad within the port break apart leaving some of the contact leads unsupported. This prevents the port from carrying the charge current from making its way to the motherboard circuitry, unless you physically sit and hold the cable in just-the-right position. Replacing the motherboard costs more than the Chromebook itself! So what do these problems have to do with the Anker charger? Well, I ordered it to use for my wife's Samsung. I also ordered Anker's Qi stand charger pad. This is a "killer combo", as together they charge her phone just as fast as her original USB-C setup and requires no physical connection at all! So no more issues with the port failure. She's really happy with Qi charging, and I'm happy with how well these Anker products work. We had tried Qi charging her phone early on by trying Otterbox's Qi charger, but it was really slow; so slow we sent it back and began using the USB-C port. This time though we got the right combo! Oh, just thought I'd mention, the Anker Qi charging pad doesn't use USB-C to connect to the Anker charger. Guess what it uses? Micro-USB! Yes, that's right, good-old Micro-USB. Bullet-proof!

As a frequent traveler and airline employee, I’m constantly on the move—and this charger has been a total game changer. It fast-charges up to 3 devices simultaneously, which is perfect for my phone, iPad, and earbuds. Compact and powerful, it eliminates the need for multiple bulky adapters. I also love that I can pair it with a travel converter depending on the destination. If you travel often and need reliable, efficient charging in one sleek block—this is it.

This has become my travel charger for all of my devices (phone, laptop, docks). As most other reviews mention, it works well, feels solid, appears well built. The only problem is that its weight often prevents a firm plug-in position while horizontal. For the most part it stays plugged in far enough for the prongs to make contact. Other than that I have not noticed any issues after about a year worth of use.

Works great. Large enough to not lose, but small enough to carry with you. The three ports work great for multiple charging options. Speed is excellent. Will get a little warm when charging three items, but that is to be expected. The kids fight over this charger when traveling because it rapid charges all their devices. 100% recommended.

Anker is the gold standard of electronic accessories. This particular charger did exactly what I wanted -- it replaced my laptop's dedicated charger with one I can use for all of my travel electronics (cell phone, Kindle, backup battery pack, etc). It's well-designed with exactly the right number and type of USB ports.
