Q: How do you set the clock? Have followed instructions but buttons not responding.

With mine (delivered 2019-05-03) to set the clock you have to press and hold "Start/Stop" for 3(ish) seconds to enable "clock set" mode (see double dots stop flashing). Then set the required time and press "Start/Stop" again to start it. But that is not what the instructions say, no mention of "Start/Stop" button.

Q: programming and an alarm that flashes when time's up. Would this fit the bill?

There’s a switch on the back for sound alert. If you switch that off you get a small flashing red light on the front. If you turn the sound on then there’s no flashing light. So basically you can have one or the other but not both.

Q: how do i delete the alarm which i set?

By pressing the "Clear" button. The alarm will go back to 12:00

Q: How do I un-set the alarm, to stop it from going off every day?

Hi, I had the same problem. Go into the alarm mode, hold the start/stop button for a few seconds till the dots stop flashing.
