Wicked Tickle 10 Fresh Ghost Peppers Whole Intact Freshly Picked Ghost Peppers Hot

These came well packaged. They were in a zip-lock type bag that was wrapped in thick paper that was closed and sealed with wax. They had a few wrinkles in them that is to be expected due to them traveling via mail for a few days, but they truly were fresh. They smelled great and were moist and had that fresh pepper taste.Now for the heat! I've been growing Rooster Spur Chiles in my backyard for several years and eat them fresh off the bush quite often. Lately, after watching some YouTube videos (LOL), I've been looking for something hotter. Best I can tell, the Rooster Spur is rated at 120,000 to 170,000 Scoville. When I eat a Rooster Spur, my eyes water, I hiccup, and there is an intense burn for 30 seconds to a minute. I've tried a fresh, whole Habanero (that is suppose to be hotter) and there was hardly any heat at all. Maybe I got a dud? I bought some of the Black Skull Ghost pepper powder (from this same company) and ate a spoonful straight and still did not get much heat. The burn of the Ghost Pepper powder was about the same as the Rooster Spurs, but lasted a bit longer.For these fresh ones, I cut off the tip and tried it first. Not much heat there, but it had no seeds, so then I cut off a bigger piece with some seeds. Now I was starting to get some real heat. Then I said to myself, "What the heck!" and threw the whole thing in my mouth. While I was chewing it, it wasn't so bad, but as soon as I swallowed, the intense heat hit my throat and back of my mouth! Major eye watering, nose running, making me feel light-headed heat! And it lasted 4-5 minutes. I actually had to drink a glass of milk. It lived up to its reputation. Now I have to figure out what to do with the other 11!

Packaged really nice neat. everything was great except for the heat. I had a friend that went overseas and brought back some ghost chili peppers and wow they were something, but these although yes they are hot just not enough or not as much as I was expecting. The ones I got from overseas were way hotter, and these although they have good flavor just not enough heat!

Peppers arrived well packaged on a Monday. My wife was fearful of even carrying them from the mailbox to the car, transporting it the 25 feet with the care of a person with years of training on a bomb disposal unit.Once they were safely in the our abode, the blue accent lighting and cool 74 degree ambient temperature allowed me to muster boldness and lower my inhibition.The outer postal package opened with ease and was promptly discarded leaving me we a detailed professional invoice and a wax sealed brown paper envelope brandishing the logo "Wicked Tickle." I knew inside lurked fruits of pepper plants. Fruits that cause many to wince in anguish and fear when they hear the name "Ghost Chili Pepper."I could smell the faint hint of spice and heat already emanating from the envelope, most likely trapped when they were packaged just a few days before. It seemed wrong to break the seal and extract peppers contained by the inner container which had written on it, safe handling instructions and a medical advisory. The peppers seemed almost inviting with their bright colors so I breached the container.Shakespeare's Henry V echoed in my mind... "Once more unto the breach, dear friends... Stiffen the sinews, conjure up the blood,... Now set the teeth and stretch the nostril wide; Hold hard the breath and bend up every spirit to his full height."I removed a pepper and took a bite. Silence. Silence as my family looked on, wondering what would become of me. The first impression was crisp and fresh. This was rapidly followed by a warming sensation that slowly grew in strength, like a fire that warms the soul. Breathing in seemed to give this fire the oxygen it needed to grow and increase in temperature making me salivate. This war between body, mind and pepper waged on for minutes reaching it's peak after 5. The resolution to the flame was not immediate and continued on to the 10 minute mark where it slowly dissipated.I was relaxed and agitated for the remainder of the night until I slept, fearing of what would be when I awoke.

But otherwise nice and fresh. Very good flavor. I purchased them because I lost a bet and had to eat one but ended up cooking with the rest.

I ate an entire pepper expecting to experience the intense heat of a ghost pepper, but these were less intense than a habanero.

I've had ghost peppers and not sure if these were. I could eat them raw seeds and all and had mild Halbanero heat but not killer heat like I wanted.

Great product not exactly something that you would want to eat by itself but it's amazing to cook with and seems to keep forever

These peppers definitely pack the heat! They arrived in a couple of days and most of them were in very good shape, though a couple had a few black spots. I have eaten some and am preparing the rest to make a sauce. I will definitely buy more peppers from this vendor and I am looking at some of their other offerings as well.
