Q: where are these made?

I don't know where they are made. I can tell you that I have two and they are Well Made. I wash them and them are used daily. They look new and I love mine. My tags are fraded.

Q: I have a heated floor in my bathroom. Will this cause a problem with the non-slip backing?

It shouldn’t at all. It’s hot melt which means it needs to be hotter to melt (re-melt). You can wash in cold and dry on low, which is normally around 125 degrees. If Your floor temp isn’t anywhere close to that. Probably 80-85 (max 104). Hot melt adhesive melts at 200+.

Q: Does this rug grip the floor sufficiently? Buying for my elderly mom. Thanks

Of buying for an elderly loved one I would pass on these particular rugs and choose ones with full rubber backing. These have a thin layer of rubber that coats the backside but wears down overtime with gwtting wet and looses its grip to the floor. In my opinion even being brand new I the rugs still tend to move around slightly therefore I would not buy these for that reason. The rugs and material are thick, plush, super soft and absorbent, but I wouldn't trust these for an elderly loved one. I.hope this helps :)
