Bought these for a 4th of July get together, draped them across our yard underneath our fruit trees. Absolutely beautiful and gave out just the perfect amount of light. Family loved them! The bulbs are quite fragile and after breaking one I decided to lay out the entire string/cord under where we planned to hang them. Then I put the bulbs in right before hanging. They do include extra bulbs. I've never seen packaging for bulbs like this. The box comes with individual bulb slots fitted into heavy duty, sturdy styrofoam type material. Easy to hang. They come with decent hangers but we used bread ties to secure them to the tree branches. Yes, sounds tacky but hey, it worked and no one could see the ties. The cord is sturdy and made of good quality and the 100' was perfect for our needs. Will definitely be using them again.

These lights turned out to be affordable and perfect for my purpose. I wanted a 3 strand sun ray pattern coming off my pergola and attaching to a tree. I needed about 80 or so feet but didn't want to mess with connecting strands. I ordered the 100 foot long incandescent light strand. It's non-connectable to another strand so it has a cap bulb on the very end. I was easily able to cut the extra length off my strand and pry the top of the last "cap" bulb on the end of the strand and then insert the end into it and push the cap down to seal it. All I had to do was run my strand and then terminate it where I wanted to to end. Once it was safely capped off I ran power to it with and outdoor heavy duty extension cord and that's it. A little creativity with a tree strap and a string light hanging kit and everything is up nice and secure. I plan to replace the bulbs as they eventually burn out with shatter proof led bulbs of the same type. These are glass so they are fragile and can break like any other glass bulb. I inserted all of my bulbs first and placed each one back into the padding they came in. Then I had someone help me hang them on the wire as I carefully fed them the strand removing the screwed in bulbs from the padding as we went. Definitely easier when you have a second person to help you hang these.

I got the lights and hung them over my patio. They look great and i like the clear bulbs and color. However, a couple days after i put them up i noticed the string was broken. Apparently, there was some wind and the the tree that i had attached the lights to moved too much. I had wondered about that when i purchased the lights but no one had mentioned that you should hang them on a cable or something rigid to prevent any strain on the thin wires. So i purchased 100' of 3/8" stainless steel cable and hung that up and then hooked the lights over the cable with no strain on the wire. I was able to repair the breaks and now am enjoying the lights again. BUYERS, please be aware of this limitation. Otherwise i like the lights and hope they will last for many seasons. I will follow up if i have any further issues.

We spent the summer of 2020 building a deck onto the back of our house. I spent the summer of 2021 trying to add touches to make it better. One of those touches was adding string lights into the space. I always loved the look when I'd see the loosely strung lights on patio spaces, whether on TV, Pinterest or in person. I did some general mental measurements prior to ordering to know how many lights I wanted and chose the 100' option. I had a 20'x20' area and I wanted a loose, criss-cross kind of hanging look to them. To install, I used screw-in "mug hooks" that I already had in my hardware drawer. These allowed me to loop the cords around each hook for security but also allow the cords to hang loose rather than taut. To eliminate the possibility of breaking bulbs, I installed the entirety of the cable before screwing in the bulbs. I did this on my own, which took a couple of hours of moving a ladder around my space and a lot of climbing up and down. A little time consuming but certainly not difficult. Once finished, I was in love with how the light transformed the space in both illumination and aesthetics. It gives off a lot of light, which I wanted, so the space can function like an actual room even when the sun goes down. If you're after a dim look, use less bulbs! The illumination given by this set makes my deck feel like a cozier space. Also, I chose weatherproof bulbs since they'll be hung outdoors year-round. However, they're under roof so won't be rained directly on. I did want something that would hold up to cold temps and gusty winds. This will be the first winter for them so I'll update if anything changes. As of now, I'd not hesitate to recommend. (If you found this review helpful, please give it a vote. Thanks so much!)

According to My Orders on Amazon, I bought these outdoor lights nearly 5 years ago. Other than replacing an handful of bulbs (using the extra bulbs they provided) over the years, I have had no issues. These were installed along the eaves of my house, adding a soft lifting to the pool area at night. Significantly, I live in South Florida and the lights were installed where they got sun all day long and they are no worse for wear. Pro Tip: I plugged them into an Amazon outlet, so that I could control them via voice command. Great product.

Looks really nice and bright in my backyard. Long length makes it easy to install along the whole fence. The included hooks make it easy to install. Make sure to install the wire first if you're putting the lights on high ceilings. Overall great product and quality, highly recommend.

Very pretty. Nice and lightweight and easy to hang. Be careful because bulbs break easily. Broke 2 just getting it ready to hang. Luckily it came with some replacement bulbs. Overall very happy with the look of this product

Exactly as advertised. Perfect brightness, easy to install, looks amazing around a back yard gazebo and path. Installed dimmer switch as well and had to cut about 6’ off of the length and it couldn’t have been easier to do. Cut and tape the ends so they don’t touch. Definitely recommend.

Immediately light bulbs started dying out even in the regular warm months. The light bulbs always seemed very hot. After the winter, they were few light bulbs that survived. Then after one year eventually the whole thing just died out without powering up. It was also a drag that we had to assemble it and insert all the light bulbs ourselves up purchase. Personally, I would not recommend this item. There are so many better string lights out there.
