Tasty!
OK so I purchased these for the first time with the idea of cooking them up on the grill like one would cook up brats or polish sausage. I purchased them because the idea of a chicken and apple sausage sounded interesting. I didn't really pay attention to the number of sausages in the package but there are only four. So why do some sausages come in packages of five, some in packages of six, while buns come in packages of eight? Of course it's a way to get consumers to buy more, I realize. But four?So I started reading reviews and realized that a lot of folks are buying this product and using it not in a bun at all, but instead cutting it up and using it as just one ingredient in the meal of their choice. OK. I have some golden potatoes on hand which my wife fried up in small chunks using her cast iron skillet to make up a breakfast scramble. She cooked the potatoes up thoroughly so that they were tender. She seasoned them with crushed black pepper and crushed red pepper flakes to give them a bit of a kick. She added some crispy bacon cut into small bits, the sausage, and then a half dozen scrambled eggs to the mix. It made for a fabulous family breakfast for the three of us and we'll be purchasing again as we come up with other ideas. It was really tasty along with our coffee and apple juice.

I love these for breakfast. Slicing them up and cooking them to get some carmelization.

Taste great, not much apple though
These are great little sausages. The apple flavor is not very strong sadly, but they do taste good and cook quickly in the air fryer for as fast dinner. Great as a stir fry, over pasta and on a bun.

Tasty and doesn't give me indigestion
As I've aged, my stomach can't handle the grease and fat in most sausages. I used to love all sorts of link sausage, like kielbasa, and summer sausage. Nowadays, not so much -- before I finish eating one I can feel my stomach churning.Not so with these Aidells brand sausages. I've tried other brands of chicken sausages, but this is the one I enjoin the most. Be warned, though, they are quite high in cholesterol. The casing is pretty tough, but that's what a sharp knife is for.My tastes tend to shift around with time, but for now I give this item five stars.

So versatile and the flavor is incredible!
I first bought these when they were 20% off on Amazon Fresh out of curiosity and have since bought them over and over at full price because they are so delish! They have a wonderful flavor and neutral tasting isn't the correct word to use, but you can use them in practically any dish because it won't overwhelm or dominate what you're cooking. I've sliced them up and pan fried them plain, added into stir fry dishes and eggs, even used them for chicken fajitas. They make a great lower fat substitute.

Light taste, no sugar
I truly appreciate that Aidelle did not add any sugar to the sausage. So many sausages with apple seem to do do. You will not be aware if the apple when enjoying these - not is flavor or texture. They are simply put a very nice, lightly seasoned sausage. I frequently nuke one in a little water, then have it in the side of a big salad, for a quick dinner. I also slice them and add to pan fried root vegetables.

Oh yum
Love Aidells sausage. It's always yummy. People think it's only for breakfast but it's not. Slice it up in a skillet with cubed potatoes and apples and green beans or mixed vegetables and anything else in the 'fridge you want to toss in... Oh, yum. You can even make a gravy and make it a sausage stew. Kebabs! It makes great kebabs! Or a sandwich. I love Aidells sausage!
