An Awesome Upgrade For My Boat
I chose these seats to update my 1987 Silverton 37’ Convertible. I know most people aren’t used to a Bolster style seat on the bigger yachts but I wanted something that would match our color scheme and also give me a bit of a boost when I I’m trying to park the other vessel. They turned out to work absolutely great for what I was envisioning and hoping for and gives our old boat a much more updated look on the bridge. No regrets with fitment, quality, or pricing. As a matter of fact I had already priced out everything through West Marine and checked amazon on a whim before ordering. These seats and set-up were almost $400 cheaper then what I was getting ready to spend with WM.

Had to Modify - No Rtn Contact from Leader
Bought as replacement seats for my 1998 Powerquest Raizor 22'. For the price they seem to work OK. Few challenges after 1 month...mounting holes were NOT as described (5"x12") for a sliding seat mount...the long distance measured between 11 1/2" and 11 3/4" so did not fit on my standard slide mounts. I called the support number on the company's site twice, only getting voicemail. I left a message. I also submitted then issue through their contact form online. I have yet to receive a response from either. I made the decision to drill additional holes into my mounting bases so I could use the product as opposed to the expense of mailing them back.I do like the fit of the seats. I am 5'10", 185#. They feel secure when riding and are easy to enter and exit due to the side design...great for small space.

Quality issue
Seats do not easily mount to standard 12" plate. Seats have 4 sets of mounting holes with the longest spread at about 11.5". I had to drill additional holes into my base plate which is not tragic except using the 11.5" spread leaves very little metal between the newly drilled 11.5" hole and the standard 12" hole. The most significant issue is how the mounting points in the chair are manufactured. There are metal threads molded into the plastic base and it appears as though their is no flange retaining the threads. Retention is completely dependent upon the plastic base. One of my metal thread inserts separated from the plastic resulting in a half installed bolt. Ultimately, I had to cut the bolt off to get my plate separated from the seat. Rather than return the seat I decided to use the mounting points that are set at about 9" and drill additional holes in my plate. The only issue I have now is part of a bolt rattling around inside of my brand new seat. Will try to figure out how to remove that later.

White-To-Yellow in under 30 days
The seat turned yellow in less than 30 days of being installed. Clearly the material is not UV protected and of poor quality...Levi Bacchus answered:"Mine has done the same in less than thirty days"

Good quality seat
Very happy with the seat. My wife says it is comfortable and feels more secure than the seat it replaced. We spent all day yesterday on the lake in fairly choppy water and it worked great. I did have to adjust the mounting plate because the mounting screws didn't line up properly.

PERFECT for all size drivers with the correct pedestal.
This seat is PERFECT. My wife and I just bought a boat recently and installed this very easily, using existing holes from the previous seat. I bought the Wise 8WP21-374 pedestal with it, which makes it completely adjustible for ALL size drivers. The bolster is amazing for being able to stand and drive in comfort, allowing for sight line over the windshield. This is one of the best investments we've made so far!!

Look/feel nice, could be improved for install
It looks really nice in my boat. Like many before me, I had to modify my mounting bracket to fit the seats mounting holes. There was a tear on one of two seats I ordered, but it may have happened during the transport. Both boxes arrived with holes in them, and both seats were missing bolts and washers, which was a little annoying. If the sun destroys them I’ll come back to update this.

Would have given 5 stars, but bad bolt hole
One of the bolt holes in the bottom came loose and stuck to the bolt and now I can't get the bolt out, nor tighten it. Had to drill another hole and use one of my other bolts from my previous seats to have 4 points and then glue the remaining bolt up to the base plate so it wouldn't bounce around. Other than that issue, they're great.
