36V 35A 10Series Cell Li Ion Batteries PCB Board with Balancing Overcharge for Li-ion Battery Cell Pack, Ternary, Manganese and Cobalt Batteries

Title says it all. I bought an E-Bike battery off of a chinese reseller hear on amazon a few years ago. The battery was advertised as waterproof, but evidently that was not true. It made it through a lot of rain, but after monsoon season this year the battery stopped working. I took it apart and thankfully all of the individual cells were fine, but the BMS was totally fried. I learned a lot about building batteries myself from this, and decided to just replace the BMS. This one worked perfectly as a swap-in replacement, even though it was from a different manufacturer. This BMS is working great so far and the output voltage is steady within range. I have not actually used it on the bike yet, so I will provide an update if it doesn't work under load, but all of my multimeter tests say itll work great.

Works perfect for my use. Disconnects when the battery voltage is too low. Reconnects as soon as the charger is powered up and the cells are being charged. Instantly disconnects in case of a short. (I discovered this by accident and is very happy the BMS did what it should) One caveat, make absolutely sure all the leads are connected properly to the cells. If one is left open, the BMS will fail. Don't ask me how I discovered that, cause I won't admit to anything....

I have built three 36 v 8 ah battery packs for my ebike, using SPIM08HP batteries. The bms works great. I get 10 miles on one pack at full throttle, 30 miles at half throttle and pedal assist. Very little heat even at full throttle. Cuts off power at 30.0 volts and charge at 42.0 volts.

Finally got around to installing these and of course it was past the return window. Both were DOA. Wouldn’t allow charging at all.

Fried the old one This one works great! Thought I was gonna need a whole new battery for nearly $1k but this lil bms replaced and my board works great!

Have never used one of these boards before I’m sure they’re not that complicated but I have no idea how to wire it and absolutely no instructions came with the device. None the one incomplete drawing in the ad is nothing but confusing because somethings are labeled and other things are not May be the greatest board in the world, but I’ll never know cause I can’t use it with no instruction

refuses to charge all together. -c is connected to the charger negative. -p is to the negative output. -b is on battery negative. all the positives are tied together. prior to connecting it i measured all cells at 4.09 - 4.11v. 8 hours after connecting it had not budged, all cells were the same voltage.
