For the price I really liked this organizer- others of a similar size were 1.5-2 x the price, but that comes with having to assemble. There are quite a few pieces, but they were well labeled. It took me about 30 minutes to put together with a regular Phillips screwdriver. I'm not sure why other reviews reference screws stripping easily because I had zero issues. I took off one star merely because the screws have no covers- so you don't get a perfect finished piece (screw heads are visible). The quality of the pieces was smooth, the assembled piece is sturdy and functional and it seems a good value for the price.

It is super useful and fits in so well with all my Bamboo office furnishings.THE GOOD STUFF:- Very nicely packaged in its box for protection.- Super nice quality bamboo.- Quite a heavy item, so it sits secure on my desk.- Has little rubber feet to attach to the bottom, so this Organizer does not slide around.- I chose the Natural Bamboo color and t is very attractive and sturdy.- 2 of the little shelves and the file divider are easily removable.- Easy to organize a lot of stuff!- Has a nice, separate, pen/phone/remote holder that can be used for lots of other stuff too.THE NOT AS GOOD STUFF:- The weight can be a plus, like it is for me, or a minus, as it is pretty darn heavy.- Assembly took my Husband longer than he anticipated. Reason? LOTS of very TINY Screws!- No spare screws are included! - Like ZERO! - So, be very careful not to drop or lose any of them!- No screw driver is included, so hopefully you'll have the correct type and size.- Truthfully, a drill is best for assembly, as Bamboo wood is somewhat hard to screw all those tiny screws in without getting some hand fatigue!- When handling the assembled Organizer, remember that 2 of the shelves and the file divider are just sitting loose in the unit, so they can easily fall out when the Organizer is tipped or moved!CONCLUSION:- This Desk Organizer is totally worth the effort of assembly and the $41 price as of 08/21/2024.- It is an efficient tool for a crowded or cluttered desk and is very helpful and attractive!- I LOVE it!

I got this organizer for my office. It match perfect with my office color and stile. The quality is good. I received it with a small easy fix defects. It is easy to assemble.

I had a feeling I needed to be extra-delicate with this desk organizer while assembling it, as the build quality already didn't feel great as I was unpacking the pieces, and I noticed not all the holes were even drilled completely.Regarding assembly, I first want to mention that this thing requires far too many screws for assembly, and the order in which you're supposed to assembly the various parts could use a lot of work. I used a drill not only due to the large number of screws but also due to how I tend to overtighten screws on overly delicate items, and I had my drill set to the lowest torque setting at first.That didn't quite do the job on the first few screws I had to tighten, so I ended up turning up the torque a bit more so the screws would at least go in all the way. The next couple of screws stripped, so I had to go back down to the lowest torque setting again. This bamboo is wildly inconsistent in terms of how hard it is to get the screws into, and I started stripping screws on even the lightest torque setting.I can understand wanting to cheap out on materials as much as possible to sell something at a low price, but you've got to compensate for that by simplifying assembling or something. I didn't even finish assembly, as the parts I did have assembled just didn't look right, and even the soft feet pre-stuck onto the bottom piece were varying degrees of damaged.Don't waste your time or money. This thing is junk, and it's going in the garbage immediately.

The media could not be loaded. Based on the 1-star review, we were prepared for this thing to fall apart. My son was the one who assembled it. The materials definitely feel cheap. He used a drill and somehow got it to come together. He said if you don’t have a drill, you will definitely strip the screws. Be gentle with the assembly. The durability of this thing is questionable at best.

The desk caddy arrived completely unassembled. Assembly was a big job because there are a lot of parts and a lot of screws. It is an awkward thing to put together. The screws are small and easy to strip. I would like this product better if the assembly happened at the factory. It seems expensive for a stack of sliced bamboo and a little bag of screws.Once put together, it is a pretty nice thing. It can hold file folders, mail, and office supplies.

I really like this design for a desk organizer. It was the perfect size, and the dividers are exactly what I needed. I would have given this 5 stars, but I had to put the majority of it together. Building it wasn't the problem it was getting the right tools and retrofitting a piece. The screws need a very small headed screwdriver (most of the time items you buy that need to be built come with a tool to build it), which makes for a difficult build when the holes they go in are also small. Additionally, I had to trim the bottom piece of the pen holder because it was cut too big. (I couldn't put it together correctly the way that it was sent.) Finally, I got it all together, and I really do like it! Was it a pain to make? Yes. But if you have a long, small screwdriver, and the patience to trim a piece to make it work... it is worth it!

This desk organizer is just what I needed! It assembled easily in about 10 minutes. The bamboo wood is attractive, and the pieces go together easily, with screws for sturdiness. The rounded corners are a great safety feature. It holds a good number of items for the size. I can recommend it!
