I don't crochet with this, I make silk tassels. I would have preferred size 8 as it is thinner & a lot more length, but size 5 suits me just fine. I thik it makes very attractive tassels that I use to decorate gifts. This red is a very festive colour. Very vivid, not at all wishy washy.
