Kittens from Hell tried, but I came out unscathed.
We have two 12 week old kittens who think they rule the roost as they have weapons always at their disposal. An aunt recommended these, after using them on her adult cats. We used the size S on our kittens, and proceeded to get to work.We began with the most gentle, loving kitten and wrapped her in a nice blanket she seems to favor. This is when we found out she does not like her paws being touched. This was going to be trickier than anticipated. After taking the time to trim her nails, we began the gluing process. The directions were easy to follow: 50% of the glue in the cap, apply, after they’re all applied allow 5 minutes for the glue to set.Do you know how hard it is to make a kitten chill for 5 minutes after you’ve been touching their paws, something they hate? However, we were able to make it without any scratches. It does take the kitten/cat a bit to get used to wearing them, and it’s better than the alternative of getting them declawed (in my opinion), but I did remove one star because these are not for the faint of heart. And the directions show a quite docile cat that doesn’t put up a fight.

Great if you need glue! But large and need trimming! Buy a bulk pack too!
I was hesitant to purchase these nail caps, but I'm truly glad I did. Our new kitten is about 10 weeks old, 3.1 lbs. I purchased the XS, which is supposed to be good for under 5lbs. We took her to the groomer to have these applied and ran into some trouble. These caps are BIG. They could probably fit an adult cat with no problem. We wanted to give her the freedom to retract her claws (like it said on the box) so putting them on the way they came wasn't an option. I don't even think we could have. After trimming them all down with scissors to about half of the original size, we were good to go. One thing we did notice that wasn't specified - The caps are all different shapes and sizes to fit different nails. So it was a slight struggle to figure out which cap to fit which nail since there was no labels, but we did it. The pack came with 3 tubes of glue, and 2 thin attachment nozzles for the glue so it can easily be squeezed directly inside of each nail cap. After we got them all on everything was perfect. (The groomer would only do the front) Our kitten hasn't had any issues with the caps being on, or with scratching up the furniture! (though she will still instinctually scratch her post) Also, the groomer did tell me that if she didn't like them on, she would definitely be able to chew them off herself. When we brought her home we decided to finish up the back ourselves. The tube of glue was still about full, and the nozzle attachment was definitely reusable. (comes with 2 anyway) She's had them on for about a week, and I think we have only lost 2, which we immediately fixed with that same glue tube from the first application. If you are looking for a semi humane way to temporarily avoid scratched up furniture, this will definitely work fine. However, they aren't very long lasting (which was expected) and requires frequent touch ups depending on how your pet adjusts to them. If your pet is uncomfortable or doesn't want them on, they will come right off, so no worries. Do not purchase these and plan to just slap them on in 5 minutes and have a good month of no worries. If you do, these are not for you. They may take some trimming down to get to the right size for your pet, and some constant maintenance, but overall they do serve the purpose intended. The pros of this product: Comes with an abundance of glue, extra nozzles, nozzles and glue are reusable, easy to trim down to size, packaging was decent and serves as a reusable storage container, and enough nails incase your pet loses a couple (we had extras and only used the pink so far) The cons of this product: Nails were way too big and had to be trimmed in half, glue seemed sketchy (I think it's regular nail glue). The pros definitely outweighed the cons. Would I purchase this product again? Probably not. Honestly since I had to trim them down, I'll probably just purchase these in bulk from Amazon (cheaper) trim them as needed, and reuse the glue from this kit since I have 2 extra tubes and the nozzles are reusable. I don't see this product standing out from the competition, or how it could be any better than the cheaper ones that come in larger quantities, but it wasn't a terrible kit. If you are new to the market for these kitty nail caps I DO recommend purchasing this kit for the glue, and one of the bulk packages of like 100 caps. You should have enough glue and caps to make sure your kitty is scratch free for several months, maybe longer for a MUCH lower cost

No!
Wishing I never put these on my precious baby’s claws. One of her claws got so long that it’s pressing into her paw and she cries when I try and cut the tip of it off. Hoping the stupid claw cap will fall off soon enough. I’m sure these are in fact probably a great product, but I feel they should be placed on by a professional which is why I made an appointment for a cat groomer to do it.

Don’t bother wasting your money.
These did not stay one. I have used the cheap ones from EBay and decided to get these since they would get to me quicker. These popped off very quickly. Some the day after applying, a few lasted 2-3 days. Extremely overpriced for a product that doesn’t even last.

Good but with a caveat.
Keep an eye on your cat. If their nails don’t shed fast enough they can grow out and go into the pad just like an overgrown nail. I’m sure it wouldn’t have been a problem if we’d been paying more attention because we could have just trimmed. Maybe it’s an issue with older cats because their growing slower?Just don’t set and forget them. This is one of the few cases where it is not good if the product lasts longer than advertised.

stayed on for 3 weeks
These are a little difficult to put on. However once they are on correctly they stay on a good 3 weeks. I had a cat that was in a double cone due to licking and scratching, She could get under the cone and still scratch. These did help. My cat has been through a lot and usually is easy to work with. Unfortunately she freaked out when I tried messing with her back claws. I got a huge scratch which left a bruise. Next time I will put lavender oil on the pads of her paws first to calm her down.

Great alternative and great product overall
I think it’s important to understand why you are getting these generally. Most people don’t want to declaw their cats. In a world of very limited options to preserve your stuff in your house and your cats claws at the same time, these are pretty good.Just a few small complaints:glue bottle is difficult to use after multiple uses. Easy to clog the funnel the glue takes.Sometimes the caps last well over a month, and sometimes a week if you’re lucky. It’s the nature of the beast. We just check weekly and it’s never been a huge problem. It all averages out to not be that bad to deal with.

Happy cat and mom
Saved my furniture and house. This product works great. My Kitty doesn't like to have her paws touched. So it did take a friend to come and help me so I could keep her still. Once they were attached, she was fine. She plays, eats, sleeps like she always has. She is a happy cat. I am guessing after one more time I'll be able to just put them on without assistance.
