Really Good. A bit pricey but you only get what you pay for ! I have had similar products before along side Samsonite but the other products have long since failed whilst my original Samsonite case still serves well ! With the need for an additional travel case the only consideration for long term serviceability and practicality is Samsonite ! Great product ! Light but strong and robust !

So, overall I think this case is pretty good. Purchased two from Amazon and just used them for a two week tour, four flights and five hotels. Like a lot of reviewers here, I was looking for something to supplement my now ageing collection of Samsonite Oysters (clearly the best suitcase ever made). Big plus of this case is the excellent mobility - the wheels are great and so far have survived unscathed. So-so is the robustness - as others have commented, unless the bag is packed fairly solidly it may well come off the line with a big ding in it, but, as others have also commented it will pop back out again. Time will tell how well it lasts, never had that even with a half empty Oyster. Negative - I should have figured this out before I bought it, it is so obvious, but there you go: this case is hinged in the middle, meaning you pack half your stuff in the "top" and zip the internal cover over it, and half your stuff in the bottom. Meaning you lift everything in the top over to close the bag. All of which is fine, but it means most of the places to put your bag in a hotel will not accommodate it - you can't put it on a shelf and open the top against a wall. This can be a pain if you are hotel hopping like we were. Otherwise it is up to the usual standard you would expect from Samsonite, great handle and clasps. Also has the joke TSA lock on it, please don't tell me you are one of the people who thinks there is a baggage handler anywhere on the planet who can't open any bag after two weeks on the job - the only purpose of suitcase locks is to reduce the chance of your bag popping open in transit, please remember that and don't put anything in the hold you can't easily replace. The bag weighs about 4kg when empty. With a reasonable mix of clothes, shoes, toiletries and general purpose junk (but no books) it was nudging 20kg so on many airlines that's your economy class weight allowance, meaning this size is about right for that. All in all a good case, apart from the kinking and the centre hinge thing which I should have spotted myself - doh!

Lovely case and well worth the money. I purchased this for long haul travelling and I’m sure it will stand the time as it feels hard wearing. The colour says dark blue but I would say it’s definitely lighter.

I bought two of these cases expecting them to be really good quality as they were made by Samsonite, but when I received them they are made with a flimsy plastic. I put my doubts to one side because of all the positive reviews, but in our first trip using them one of them had a huge dent in it after the first flight. Again, I ignored my doubts thinking it must be bad luck but on our return journey we were having trouble getting the lock to close. Eventually it closed, but when we got back home it won’t open despite us writing down the code and testing it lots of times before using it. We are going to have to break the lock to get our belongings out. There is no way I will ever use a Samsonite case ever again!!

Valiz ve iş çantaları söz konusu olduğunda ilk tercihim Samsonite ürünleri oluyor. Ancak ülkemizde son yıllarda alım gücünün düşmesiyle birlikte benim için de ulaşılmaza doğru farkı iyice açtı ve açmaya da devam ediyor. Amazon, mağaza ve yetkili diğer satıcılara göre daha uygun fiyatlı kampanyaları ile bu farkın az da olsa kapanmasına ve hiç aklımda yokken yeni bir valiz sahibi olmama yol açtı. Genelde kabin boy valiz kullanmayı tercih etsem de bazen tatil dönemlerinde daha büyük boy valiz gerekli olabiliyor. Bu valizin diğerlerinden en önemli farkı fermuarsız, biri şifreli 3 kıskaçlı kiliti olmasıdır. Samsonite çantalarda fermuar başı kopması dışında fermuar sorunu yaşamadım ama daha önceki bazı çantalarda yaşadığım olmuştu. Bu valize benzer şekilde, ama iki tekerlekli görünüş olarak eski tip valizlere benzer, yaklaşık 25 yıllık sert plastik bir valizim daha var. Onun da kıskaçlı şifreli kilitleri var, aldığımda kullanmayı çok severdim, ama sadece iki tekerlekli olması ve yürürken, yani çekerken denge sağlama sorunu yarattığından sadece çok mecbur kaldığımda kullanır olmuştum. Samsonite dahil bu tarz valiz seçeneği az. Ama bence çok daha uzun ömürlü ve güvenli. Fermuarlı çantalarda da bazen kilitli modeller olsa da kullanım pratiği açısından bu valizleri kilitlemek, açmak, kapamak çok daha kolay oluyor. Ayrıca şişkin valizlerde de fermuar dayanım ve kapatma açısından sorun güven vermiyor.bu çantalar kilit sistemleri sayesinde bana göre çok daha dayanıklı görünüyor. Tekerlekleri 4 yöne dönebiliyor. Valiz son derece hafif, tüy gibi. Şimdilik kullanmadım ama hafifçe iterek yada çekerek hareket edebiliyor. Boşken neredeyse üfleseniz hareket edecek. Valizin bir bölümü astarsız. Diğer bölümü astarlı ve üstten fermuarlı. Ayrıca menteşe bölümünde boydan boya fermuarlı bir cep daha var. Bunlar resimlerde de görünen detaylar. İçinden şifre ayarının nasıl yapıldığını gösteren bir kılavuz da çıkıyor. Bazı kullanıcılar garanti konusuna değinmiş ama ihtiyaç duyacağımı sanmıyorum. Valiz konusunda en büyük endişem, havayollarında valizlere uygulanan kötü muamele. Çoğunlukla ayak kırılması ile sonuçlanıyor. Bunun da garantiye girdiğini düşünmüyorum. Ancak onarım için destek sağlanabilir yada böyle parçalar set halinde yada tek tek satışa sunulabilir. Kampanya fiyatına dahi 2-3 valiz alınabilir olsa da kalitesi açısından tercih ettim. Bu arada, ürünü ilk olarak 01 Eylül de satın aldım. Birkaç gün sonra yaklaşık 500Tl kadar fiyat indirimine girdi. Müşteri ilişkilerini aradım, fiyat indirimi konusunda yardımcı olamayacaklarını ama istersem ürünü iade edip, tekrar satın alabileceğimi söylediler. Ben de söylendiği gibi yaptım. Bu noktada beni üzen şey, iade süreci ile uğraşmak değil de koskoca valizin iade kargosu ve tekrar kargo bana yeni bir valiz gönderilmesi gibi maddi manevi birçok kaynağın, enerjinin, boşa harcanması oldu. Halbuki işin bu noktaya varmasını bir iade çeki ile halledebilirlerdi. Bu konuda müşteri ilişkilerine biraz daha geniş yetkiler verilmesini öneriyorum.

You pay for the quality — the suitcase survived several long haul flights and other travels and despite some scratches here and there, it’s a great, solid item. Bought all three sizes and can always rely on them.
