George Gershwin (Getting to Know the World's Greatest Composers) Paperback – January 1, 1995

My daughter did a project on George Gershwin and I wanted to get a book that an 8 year old would actually read. She loved the pictures and the words were written so simply so she was able to understand everything. I'm very happy with this purchase and look forward to her reading about more artists.

I re ordered this book after I thought I had left it at another school. I am happy to have two copies now and I read it with my younger students.

As a teacher, I love this series! My goal is to teach my 3rd graders about the famous artists and composers. This series makes it easy, fun, and interesting!

This whole series of "Getting to Know", whether it be about composers or artists is fantastic. It should be a required part of any music program. I am sorry there aren't more titles available.

Great book for children. Informative and accurate with wonderful artwork. A must for a young prodigy. It came beautifully wrapped and shipped quickly. Couldn't be happier
