Six hour coldness

I needed this because I do marketing and sometimes the stuff I’m giving away will melt. It works good for what I bought it for but I still have to place it in a cooler just so that it will stay cold. Otherwise it doesn’t stay cold too long in the hot car. The size is perfect so I am able to fit quite a bit in there. I have started using a towel around it because there is condescension that is created, being that the bag needs to be filled up with water in order to freeze.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: We have used this multiple times this summer. We have been amazed at how it works. I purchased 2.

This product works great to keep drinks cold in my cooler. No excessive water to deal with like regular ice. I highly recommend.

This is rather small and will get smaller, once you actually put it in the water and it freezes up. It’s big enough for a couple of 2 Liter sodas, some water bottles, maybe some sandwiches and fruit. It’s easy to clean, which is a plus, and reusable. The claim about 12 hours… I don’t think so. Without being in a cooler, and on a 100 degree day, it lasted about 3-4 hours. If I added extra ice inside, it seemed to last a bit longer. I put it in my insulated backpack (with nothing inside because my backpack isn’t that big), and it lasted closer to 12 hours. I don’t have a cooler, yet, so it might actually last up to 24 hours inside of one. I mostly got this for shopping trips when we might want to get some cold/frozen items, but want to go to multiple stores or stores farther away, so it works for what I need.

The concept was promising but I have tried using this twice now for our boat days and it doesn’t stay cold long at all. Maybe two hours max. All you have to do is submerge it in water and then place it in the freezer. It however is a nice color and is made really well. It came packaged nicely and is easy to carry around. It doesn’t take up much room in the freezer either which is a huge plus.
