I never knew a mount like this existed until I started looking for replacement for my old one. My previous mount had a suction cup base that kept coming loose and falling in the floorboard of my car. The price on this was great so I thought I'd give it a try. I can't vouch for everyone, but it's a perfect fit for me. It installed super easily, and is just as easy to remove if needed. It holds my Android Auto screen at the perfect distance and height for me in my car, and is fully adjustable to get the right viewing angle. It's pretty stable and doesn't vibrate much unless the road is rough, and even then, it's not too bad. Overall it works great and I would definitely buy it again.

Fits in slot perfect and stays sturdy. Hold good, easy to install, drive around the pot hole covered streets of Cleveland and it doesn’t come loose and doesn’t pop out. Overall get you a decent CarPlay screen and this if you don’t wanna stick it to the dash or windshield. Highly recommend

Works well enough with my wifes 2013 Equinox. Had to put it in upside down and give it a little force but it went in and is staying in. The edges could use a little filing down, so if it pops out I'll try doing that to improve the fit and then it might fit in right side up as well. Overall a decent choice. Using this to hold up a Carpodgo.

I've been experimenting with various suction cups, vent clips, and mounting arms for my Apple CarPlay screen. Sometimes I'd think I had worked out a good solution, but within a week or two, it would be falling on me while I drove again, especially if I had a teenager in the passenger seat trying to pick music or set the GPS for me. This mount is rock solid. I've had it now for 3 months and that screen hasn't budged. Holds steady on bumpy roads and doesn't vibrate the screen making it hard to read. Wish I'd gotten this a long time ago and saved a lot of frustration.

I love this! Works PERFECT in my 2009 Mini Cooper where there isn't a great place to mount my CarPlay. Very easy to install, super sturdy, doesn't stick out in the way, perfect!

Very sturdy. A lot of these CD-slot-style holders have poorly designed or flimsy "duck bill" pieces that fit into the slot. This model is made from strong plastic and the parts of the "bill" separate very firmly and lock the holder in place. I've driven a couple hundred miles across varied roads (city, highway, dirt and gravel country roads) and the mount hasn't budged a bit. I specifically purchased this model to upgrade the mount included with Car Play screen I purchased to 1) get the dash/windshield mount arm out of the view of the dash cam on the Car Play unit and 2) clear the dashboard far enough from the location of the CD slot to have more of a view of the road and less of the dashboard. This mount accomplished both goals and I intend to purchase another for our other vehicle.
