I’ve tried hojicha before and was looking for a good one on amazon. I came across this brand and its actually really yummy! It whisks up nice and smooth. Love the flavor!

This is a great hojicha powder. It tastes nutty, smooth, and flavorful and pairs well with my favorite creamer. Totally recommend if you have never tried hojicha before.

This tea powder mixed well with water in my milk frother. I didn’t really care for this tea on its own. It was not bitter, but it tasted like seaweed to me for some reason. I enjoyed it more when I added milk powder and sugar. It seems like it’s a good quality product, but I do think that is a bit of an acquired taste.

12/10 Hojicha. Fresh, nutty, and rich. I love matcha but it has too much caffeine for my taste. I’ve been getting into Hojicha and I love it. Just a fraction of the caffeine of matcha but gives me energy all day. I don’t get jitters cuz the caffeine level is low. It elevates my mood noticeably- one of the many health benefits of Hojicha.I look forward to my morning cup! This is in my regular rotation now. Price reflects in the quality. It’s not the cheapest but it’s very tasty and worth the price.

I have always been both a matcha and coffee drinker, so Hojicha seemed like an interesting way to combine aspects of both of these for me, the benefits of tea with some of the flavors and colors of coffee. I found the FKRO Hojicha to be rich and complex in flavor, and high quality. I appreciate that it is organic, especially given how much I plan to drink of this stuff. Definitely going to incorporate this Hojicha into my daily routine, as a nice pick me up in the afternoon instead of coffee. Love the FKRO branding as well, feels different than other tea brands.

I already love FKRO’s matcha, so I had to try their hojicha—and I think FKRO may just be my new favorite hojicha brand.Although I love matcha's earthy and slightly bitter taste, I also do appreciate how this hojicha is incredibly smooth, nutty, with a delicious toasty flavor! It also has way less caffeine (only 7-20 mg per cup compared to matcha’s 70 mg), which will make it perfect for my afternoon or evening drink without getitng the jitters :)I can't wait to start making more hojicha lattes at home. If you’re looking for a high-quality, budget-friendly hojicha powder, this is definitely the one to get!
