RGB Transparent Back Plate Compatible with ROG Ally X, ROG Ally X Case Accessories with Silicone Grip and Cooling Module, DIY Replacement Shell

Just received and installed on my Ally X. A heads up, if you have an SSD with a heating installed, the additional cooling will not fit. However, it is not needed. Very simple install. I couldn’t believe how low the price is compared to the quality. Feels premium when installed and it’s completely smooth compared to the OEM grippy back plate. RGB is all separate from the Ally, and the button is recessed with its own Type-C port. Looks incredible too. I love this and wish I had bought it sooner. Not a fan of the silicon grips but nice that they are included!

This is incredible quality. I bought this because my Ally X had a slight creak to it when twisting it no matter how much I tightened the screws. Not only does this fix the issue, but it makes the device feel so much more premium. I really appreciate that Jsaux gives you everything you need for the installation (like the screw driver and plastic pry piece) and the rubber grips are actually great as well. If you are on the fence and questioning if this makes a real difference, the answer is a solid yes.

Worked like a charm on my ASUS rog ally x. The installation instructions were very vague had to watch a YouTube video about install. Of course the video I watched the guy was dumb and didn’t know to tape up the light sensor inside the rog ally x, and the directions don’t mention it although they supply the black tape to do it. System wouldn’t reboot ended up watching a second video and the guy was very smart and mentioned the light sensor, I taped it up and had to hard reset with a long power button press and everything worked great. Backplate, grips and RGB Lighting looks awesome. I upgraded my SSD also so the heat sink was awesome too, doesn’t block air flow at all and keeps the heat away from the micro SD card slow, evenly distributing lower heat more throughly and evenly throughout the system. My top recommended Mod especially if your upgrading internal storage.

Super easy to install, and does what it’s supposed. Looks great on my Ally X however I did not use the weird black side grip things.

In actually impressed with how good this us for the price, easy installation and it looks amazing 10/10

Fits perfectly I'm averaging lower temperature by about 4-5 degrees Kit includes A spare set of screws and 2 rubber grips for both sides of the Ally X Was able to get it installed in about 20-30 minutes While it is easy there is room for error so I EXTREMELY advise looking up videos for it Either their official build or there are lots of step by step instructions on youtube Once you get it installed it looks great

It's a really cool case to us with the modcase. The installation is really easy. The only thing I would do is put 2 stickers on top of the might sensor except for 1. The quality feels nearly identical and the rgb looks insane. The heatsink is also a nice touch to use and I would also put the sticker over the battery for a cleaner look. I wouldn't use the rubber grips though because they feel don't feel as good as the rubber from the modcase.

Doesn’t fit the rog ally x well, a bit of squeaking with the plastic rubbing together. If you can overlook this and the sub-par quality then you’ll be ok
