Its just what I needed
Only had this a few days. First use last night for a piece of ribeye cooked in a griddle pan. Last time icooked using the pan the meat was curled up when I turned it over. This time I was able to keep it absoulutely flat and the steak seemed to cook more evenly. Great addition to my kitchen and I can see it getting plenty of use. Especially when BBQ season starts.

Overall great.
Great weight and quality for a press, makes cooking meats a dream. It’s actually massive so can only be used on a BBQ. Easy to clean.

Crispy on the outside, juice on the inside..
Love my meat press. I use it frequently to cook steaks and they come out perfect every time. Really seal in the flavour/seasoning and produce juicy steaks in express time. Highly recommended for any like minded carnivore out there.

Very sturdy and a good weight, what I particularly like about this is the longer distance between the handle and the plate as it means your hand does not get hot using it, definitely the best grill press in my opinion.

Misleading information
Is it a wooden handle ! No I don’t believe it is. Does it weigh ‘nearly three pounds’ as described by the maker ! Well not according to my kitchen scales, as shown in the attached picture. Mind you I suppose nearly three pounds is dependent upon your personal opinion but what don’t talk don’t lie. Check the picture and make up your own minds, I’m sure Trading Standards will. Does this seller really think people wouldn’t check or notice the weight when holding it ! It is well made but I’m struggling to get over the bare faced lie. Unbelievable. Amazon please get your act together. I wonder ! Will this be published !
