I have use many sandwich toast makers in the past including electric ones they had following issues 1 Too small for bread size need to cut edges of bread 2 uneven or over burnt due to type of metal used 3 Toast stick to bottom of toaster had to remove and clean(Toaster with both sides attached with a hinged This toaster overcomes all above problems I.e. 1. Accommodate s large and thick slices lets me enjoy the crisp edges of the bread slice and accepts a lot of stuffing in the middle 2. Made of good quality steel and good thickness and nonstick surface toast comes perfectly done and doesn’t stick to bottom 3 No fixed hinges so both sides can be separated and washed easily in dishwasher (upper rack only) 4. Some People have come about removing and putting the two half’s together but I found it easy if you do it by reversing the unit I will try to post a video when I have additional resource it’s simple

I had a similar lightweight, double-sided pan when I was little to make my own toasties, and it's as superb as I remember! The two halves come apart for easy cleaning, and the surface is sufficiently non-stick, so I don't even need to butter the outside of the sandwich.

Really cool. My kids take to the camping activities. You can toast each sandwich within 5 to 10 mins. Keep checking as well till done. Good for any bread size and any stuffing. No leakage and easy to clean, wipe or dry it. Throw it in your travel bag, your meals are covered...if outdooring...

Its slightly big and would be a 5 star if it was thinner towards the end so it could provide closing to the sandwich. Otherwise its doing its job perfectly. I get nice grill to the sandwiches. Non stick so no issues with stuff sticking to it.

Great build, easy to clean, made tough, just the right size for a sandwich so we bought 2 of them. Cooks well on an electric top and a glass-top. Makes GREAT tasting toasty sammies, either on their own, or with soup.

It wouldn't hurt if it was slightly heavier. The handles are a bit heavy for it. But I quickly made a toasted cheese, and it was very good. I'll be leaving it in my camper galley where I need it. I have no idea what all the Chinese instructions say, but is easy to use and clean.

Bought for my 12 year old grandson and he loves it makes great toast cheese sandwiches
