I already love and use Stasher bags everyday in my kids lunches. I prefer Stasher over other brands because they are food grade silicone that I can throw in the dishwasher. Other brands say they are dishwasher safe, but I found that those bags look ragged after a few times so I always ended up handwashing those. Stasher bags look the same and feel the same after they come out of the dishwasher.One con of the newer style of Stasher bag is that the closure comes in a little at the top compared to their previous style and I find it a little harder to fit sandwiches in the bag since the opening is now a little smaller than the actual width of the bag. I didn't have this problem with my older Stasher bags.This set is a beautiful color and it comes in gift worthy packaging. The individual bags that I have bought came with just a thin cardboard label, but this set comes in a very nice, thick box that lifts open. An impressive display. The water bottle and bags each have their own little "nook" in the box. This would be a great gift.I would not buy this set for the water bottle. The water bottle is mediocre. It is a standard metal water bottle. The silicone cover is nice, but mine came with a big scratch in it (see photo). I am glad the opening is large enough to fit ice cubes. I like that the handle is small and silicone so it is flexible. It fits in a medium size purse and in cup holders. The lid is what I really dislike. When you remove and replace the lid it feels like you are twisting raw metal against raw metal. It does not twist on smoothly and it makes slight screech/scratchy sounds that might make you cringe like nails on a chalkboard.

Bags are a 4.7 out of 5Water Bottle is a 2 out of 5This is kind of a weird set overall. It's technically an "On the Go" set but I don't think anyone expects the on the go bag set to come with a water bottle as well. This would all be fine if the water bottle were good. But mine the cap came very hard to screw on (it also makes a metal on metal scraping sound every time like they didn't tool it right). And overall the bottle just seems like a poorly made add-in that doesn't compete with better water bottles (although I did like the outer silicone grippy layer on the water bottle). And at this point most people already have water bottles anyways. It's also not just an isolated bottle that only I received, others have pretty much said the same things about the bottle being poor quality. What makes this worse though is this set is not affordable or a good value. It's definitely priced as a premium set. So it comes off almost like they threw in a cheap water bottle just to justify charging a higher price.For the bags, their quality is very good and they all sealed well and didn't have any leaks. They have a blue tint but you can see into them for easy item verification. The bags are thick and the different sizes they chose to include all make a ton of sense and hold everything you'd want for on the go snacking. It's perfect for people with kids or if you're going to a theme park or on a road trip etc. My only concern is whether the bags will continue to seal as they get opened and sealed over a long period of time. But that hasn't happened at all, it's just something I'll have to keep my eye on. Honestly, even If it did happen, I think because of the quality of the bags it wouldn't happen for quite some time.These are priced at a premium, and Stasher prices all their items at a premium. But I think they're a fair justifiable purchase as long as you can afford it. Over the long run you will most likely come out ahead not having to buy zip lock bags. However, I wouldn't get this specific set. I'd look for another Stasher set of just the bags and save some money not having to pay for the water bottle. If they ever replaced the water bottle with either a different item (more bags?) or included a better quality bottle, then I'd restar this closer to 5 stars. Especially if they found a way to lower the price around $10. Then it's an easy no brainer buy.These would make great gifts to friends and family too.

Stasher storage bags are the best. They are very well made. Thick walls. The sealing mechanism really works. I use it to store dry snacks and wet fruits all the time. I prefer the bowl shape bags as they stand on their own and maintain the shape, not compressing the content.This starter kit is a good value if you want to try these storage bags. I wish I can get them in different colors. They make great gifts and help people realizing they can help the environment by not using and disposing plastic storage bags all the time.The included water bottle is well made, but I personally do not like narrow neck bottle. They are hard to clean. I could use a kit that des not have the water bottle, and with bags in another color.

I’ve been a fan of Stasher bags for a while, and this set is no exception! The silicone storage bags are thick, durable, and truly leakproof, making them perfect for snacks, sandwiches, and even meal prep. They’re dishwasher-safe, which is a huge plus, and I love that they stand upright, making storage and pouring easy. The pinch-lock seal takes a little getting used to, but once you do, it’s super secure.That said, I was less impressed with the water bottle. While it looks sleek and has a soft-touch silicone exterior, the metal-on-metal threading makes an awful screeching sound, and the lid doesn’t twist on smoothly. It also gave my water a slight metallic taste, which was disappointing.If you’re looking for a great set of reusable silicone storage bags, this is worth it—but I wouldn’t buy this set just for the water bottle. Would love to see a version without it!
