Not as good quality as I thought but cute for summer

My last cowboy hat, from the boot store, suffered far too many tree trimmings and landscape encounters to ever be "quite right" again, but it's very difficult to find a better hat than a cowboy hat to keep you cool, keep your nose and cheeks a normal color, and keep your neck from betraying your cultural roots.This hat comes with a patch sewn on the front that might or might not make a statement about your cultural roots, or it might just remind you to take a break with an ice cold brew when you're mowing on a hot day.The Calhoun Busch Light Mountain Logo Straw Beach Cowboy Hat with Curved Brim Tan - is really a quality hat.Wired brim will contour as you need it.Interior elastic sweat band both wicks away sweat and keeps your chapeau secure on your peanut while you're beaching it up/working in the yard/sawing on your neighbor's tree without his recent, specific permission.I ordered the "Busch Light" iteration, which had a patch with a lovely mountain scene and a reminder to crack a cold one now and then.Arrives with a hat form inside, so no worries if it arrives in an order with your mini-anvils, it will hold its shape.Mine needed a little dip here and a little curve there, and this was easily accomplished with a bit of steam and a little bit of patience. That may go out the window with the first tree limb that clotheslines me, but for now, it's a nice look.Unlike a lot of promotional materials, this is definitely a decent quality product that also happens to endorse Busch Light, so well done, marketing department, on selecting a good base product before putting your name on it.The lake crew, the beach bunnies, and the float trip crew will definitely need one of these to keep cool and look cool on the next outing.I'm adding a band to mine to fancy it up a little bit, because I'm just aesthetic that way. But first, I think I'll pop a top and take a moment to chill. Thanks for the reminder!

Pretty excited about this hat, but it's definitely a hot weather/shade hat, so I'll be wearing it more in the summer. It's very lightweight - 3.6 oz, or about 100g. About the same as a baseball cap. The band is comfortable, one size fits all. I have a pretty average sized melon (I don't know what size), but it fits fine.The rim has some moldable wiring of some sort in it, so you can kind of shape it how you want, which is awesome. If you are worried that it will arrive bent out of shape or damaged, the wire edge can be bent back for sure. But... it came in this box with a plastic piece the shape of the hat body, so it should arrive fine. Seems like maybe the sellers took note of some of the comments regarding damage on arrival, because this packaging would have to be seriously mistreated before any damage to this hat will happen. It was well packaged, so they likely fixed the issue.The coloring is exactly what you would expect it to be from the pictures, although it seems a little exaggerated. But not bad. The emblem has some minor sewing, but there's a bit of glue under there holding it on - so it's not going anywhere. If you took it off, I'm not sure whether the glue would leave marks or damage if removed. So I'll guess I'll just represent Busch Light and drink some coldies.As to the material, just know that it's paper straw (I think it's called "toyo")- not natural straw (not panama or anything more expensive like that). And it seems like it has some kind of varnish or coating, which I think is normal for that type of straw. But for what this is, it should work just fine and be pretty durable, especially if you grab it by the brim, and not always from the top.Overall, it's a pretty nice hat, and I look forward to using it more when the weather heats up. I'm expecting to use if for fishing and hiking primarily - perfect for that, given how light and breathable it is and the shade it provides. Good for beer drinkin' too.

My husband is a Bush drinker for his beer. You hardly ever see this product on things much less a straw hat. We do alot of things on the water and we are always looking for straw hats for us to wear. So when I came across this hat I was so excited to order this for him.The hat itself is such a great product with the quality of hat that it is. When shipping it it did get a little bent out of shape, which I wish they would put those bubble pockets inside of these hats to keep there shape during the process. I did have to put it on one of my manacan heads that I have here for work. It took about a week or so to get the shape back as well as me working with it to shape it daily. The image is exactly like the Bush logo and is perfectly placed in the middle of the hat. The head shape is a normal size hole, so if your husband has a bigger size head then this might not sit where you want it to. The color of the straw is a two tone type color, meaning they have two different colors that are entertained to make this dimension looking color. The sides curve up just like a normal "cowboy" hat.My husband loves this hat so much, he wears it all the time, even outside cooking on the smoker. If your looking for a unique gift for someone who loves this Brand of beer then look no further, You wont be disappointed .

Fun Busch light hat. Was hoping more of a sun hat which is material appropriate but shaped like cowboy hat instead. Nice for beer lover gift

doesn't take much to lose shape but with the wire brim it's fairly easy to fix.
